I was BLESSED to have had a grandmother that was born in 1917 who partially raised me. So this interview is bringing back a lot of memories, and has restored STRENGTH into my Soul.

You all listen to Pastor. I have been shot left for dead in an alley. There have been multiple times when I could have been killed. Yes, the devil came for me. But jesus christ was there. When I felt those bullet s hit my body. God heard my cry, yall. I thought i was going to die right there in that alley alone. Two men put a gun to my head and told me your life is over and checked my pockets for money. But thank god I am still here. Training for my eleventh marathon. Canada 🇨🇦 and 🇺🇸 America, a two country marathon.

I enjoyed this video. The oldest person in my small community of Bethel, Texas (Anderson County) is now 101 years old. She gave birth to 22 kids. Her best friend and cousin was my mom who would be 99 years old. My mom passed at 93 years old. This man reminds me of my husband’s grandfather who died at 107 years old back in 1993. I love sitting and talking to old black folks gaining as much as I can. 🙏🏾
His mind is good, my Pastor is 101 and his mind is good, still Teach the Word, and he lives according to what he preach
My Second Comment: I’m saving this video. In one setting I’m going to make all of my grandchildren (ages 9 to 16) watch this video. Then I’m going to make them write a 5 part thesis report. For the preteens it has to be (2) pages. For the teenagers it has to be a total of (7) pages. I intend for them to get a good understanding of what this pastor is saying. They will thank me later.

I am from the Caribbean and my father passed away when he was 9 years old and this man just bought back so much memories of him. I love this interview. God bless this man of God with his wisdom and his amazing memory.

Wow! I remember as a child growing up. In school we had to say prayer before school started, sing praise to God, prayer before we ate, before we left school. He is telling the truth about everything. I was born in the late 70s. We also wen to church 4 times a week including night service. Thank you for this story, brings so much memories.

Keep up these interviews with the elders, both men AND women.! They've been there and done that. We can learn a lot from them spiritual, marriage and relationships, saving money, you nane it. Knowledge is power! We are the only nation that don't uphold our elders as a very precious resource and commodity, if you will. Again , I commend you for taking out the time for this interview.

This is Gold..when 8 was in prison i use to like talking to the older people,they where more calm and had way more wisdom,experince and game then the younger crowd..haven talked to an older,cuz im very anti social ,which i know is nt good..but man!!!!i listened to the whole interview..thank you very much..this is exactly wat i needed
