This is a wonderful way to share this ministry with people and to hopefully inspire a passion for this ministry. The layout looks great. Wow...this packing party set up is very organized! Great job putting the hygiene items in ziplock bags, all put together and ready to go. Love the older boy hygiene kits as well. Good job on putting calculators in the older kid's school supplies. Thanks for sharing and i hope you all had a blast packing boxes. 🤍

I do have a room at church to keep it all in. I made a video of how i do that but have not posted it yet🤦 having a place to store your stuff is really important. If it's organized, it can even be in a Sunday school room. Mine stayed in the middle school class, and the kids were fine. I try to ask for items but I'm not very consistent about it and the response is small so far. I'm hoping it will increase the more we do it.
That was last year, and during the packing party, I was too busy to video! I will try to do better this year. I will post another video for this year's setup and try to video the party.😊
Wow, this is an amazing packing party set up. So organized and full of great quality items. My favorite are the pencil packs. The streamers on the ring are fun. And that's so cool it was made by members. Love the variety for each age group. I do like you have an all age group table. Thanks for sharing!
Great set up! I learned to set up better watching yours and others videos! May I suggest something? I bought blankets for the first time this yes and asked our regional coordinator about vacuum sealing items. I was told that yes we can! So I vacuum sealed the blankets which means they take up less space! Also I cut off and taped the blanket label on the outside so the person at the processing center would know what was in the vacuum seal! I had the idea of blankets when I bought an 800 piece building block set last Christmas at Ollie’s then also found 3 or 4 Lego blankets I wanted to send with the sets. What prompted me to ask about vacuum sealing because they were nice and fluffy! Also my son who served 22years in the military wasn’t happy his wife couldn’t fit the blankets she bought in her boxes with everything else. He mentioned blankets was one of the biggest needs he saw in poorer countries! Why I now want to make sure I can get more for next year!
That is a great idea! I did end up cutting the ones that were leftover into smaller sizes this year. I cut fringe on the edges and they turned out really cute.
Can I ask where you store all the items and do you ask for specific items to be donated each month? Would love to do this but our church does not have storage space 😳
For my personal boxes, I store them in totes in the top of my closet and then use banker boxes in the empty corners of my bedroom. At church, we have a room that I keep it all in. I have shelves and lots of banker boxes. I'll try to post a video of that soon.

I recruited the youth to help set up. 😊 I don't have a regular team of workers, but I am working on it.
