Maybe she lives of dj'ing. But I agree. I'm into techno and that track was seriously sounding boring imo. Not that I haven't done loads of boring music, but haven't released them either (or any at all).
a lot of people make abstract techno. Mike Parker has been doing it since the 90s. But these days most of a producers income comes from performances. Might not be your sort of techno but there is a HUGE following
people like a hands on feel. Analogue Rhythm can do pretty much anything a drum rack can do but in a physical box. Plus the sound quality is far more clearer than a sample
Using satin (tape saturator) to cut sound peaks, I think she need to try the Waves CLA 76, the Black Rooster VLA-FET compressor or just a touch of Waves DBX 160, it´s only my opinion!
can you share the reason why you use the satin to cut sound peaks?! I know sometimes using saturator on sounds can cut dynamics a little but isn't more efficient using other tools?!
@@alexjofer because it sounds good. Not everyone has access to all these plugins. Why not get the most out of what you have. Just because that combo works for you or 100s of people doesn't mean that's the right combo for everything. There are no rules.
I know, but to cut sound peaks (transients) you have the glue compressor on live (it’s a vca compressor) or a more extreme option the limiter! If you have a project you don’t care let me mix it for free, but don’t send me 100 stems to mix! 😁 Don't be bored with my words, I don't mean to talk bad about anyone's work, we are just exchanging ideas! 😉
@@alexjofer no i don't think you'd do a very good job of mixing. you are set in your ways. every track will sound like some terrible minimal tech-house track and who wants that? you say you're exchanging ideas but all you're doing is trying to sound like you know what you're talking about. you are attempting to belittle other producers who don't do things the "right" way. I think you should spend more time experimenting and less time trying to talk down to others. Insolate clearly knows what she is doing so maybe listen to her instead.
Either she is crazy when it comes to sound design with the AR or that kick is a sample. It’s not really possible to make reverb style warehouse kicks with the RYTM
I don't know how she did it either, but sometimes it's more about how you sequence the bass. How the pitch and velocity changes. It can make a rumbly sound. And I think I heard some delay on it as well. She did mention parameter lock, so that might be how she did it with some reverb maybe? I don't know :)
It is though. With parameter locks you can change the pitch and reverb amount on steps where the kick is just decaying. There's even a RYTM kick presets (not sample!) that sounds similar.
It is a nice little studio, but this is the kind of techno any novice can make within a couple of hours. A real craftsman like Kowalski could probably make 10 similar (and better) tracks in one weekend if he would feel like it.
I'm glad Beatport doing these stuff. Don't stop please.
pretty much all these studio sessions videos are great, this one included. keep it going!
Hvala Insolate, cjenimo ovo !
Really nice walkthrough. Appreciate it and keep up the good work Insolate. I enjoy this polyrhytmic style of techno.
Great to see you in studio, for a change (#stayinside)
Great !!! Thanks a lot Insolate :)
exactly what i wanted to see. so good.
Svaka čast. Samo tako naprijed. Da mi je probati ovaj analog four mk2 bilo bi ludilo. Sanjam o njemu već godinu i pol.
Thanks beatport !
Why she didnt show at the end what she did ...
Would be cool is she told from where did she get the kick and bass sample is it from a pack is it something that she recorded ?
yeah she talked about the analog rhythm so much xD
The real techno lady
Sweet!
Does she really make a living by producing THAT stuff? I'm really curious?

Italiana?
No... she's from Croatia. It says right there in the description.
Croatia. it's like the first thing she says...
Do you really like the sound of Analogue rythm ? I really prefer samples + Apleton Drum rack

how about some Uplifting Trance producers?

probably should keep it your opinion.

I was thinking the same thing, I don't know how she created that kick with only 1 channel on the RYTM

its quite easy actually. you just have to think outside the box
she look like ellen allien like crazy
I don't see that but fair enough, everyone sees things differently ;)
Blonde shorthair woman...
Thats it
Улетео бих у њу ко Ратко у Сребреницу !
