+Dejan Ilješ Some great insights if you like techno. A lot better than the average EDM producer: "I use Nexus, Vengeance samples, Sylenth1 and FL Studio...and they are all cracked"
+rfish2 i like techno,...but pig here really didnt show us any special things. all i got from here is that the sounds were made with sh1 system. not where he puts the notes, which notes chords he prefer, for what kind of sounds was he looking, how he made the groove and so on...although i comletely understood him i am not sure if some kid who sits for the first time behind the computer, did it. not to mention really bad view on his monitor...just my oppinion....
+Dejan Ilješ hm, i just saw the second part of it,...and dan did really good job actually,....really useful stuff,....so i am taking some of my complaining back :)
I wish they’d release the other parts of these videos once they become unavailable to buy. There is so much content that they have basically shelved forever that would still be entertaining to watch even if they are several years old it’s a shame that it goes to waste.
I'm just watching it now , it is really cool to see how some producers work , I feel I'm sort of in the same place as I need an eliminator 😅 , it's sad to know I won't see the other video this was becoming really interesting, specially when I'm trying to learn more
Great video guys. Really enjoyed this. I've said this before in comments but arrangement is one area I struggle with electronic music. Rock music I could arrange all day long but for some reason having so much choice and options leaves me paralyzed. Always great to hear how others tackle their arrangements process. Got a lot of good ideas from this. Thx
I Love these Producers!! GREAT work CM!! More of such Producers! but PLEASE use a Screen capture, this video recording of zooming in and out is so 90s, absolute shyte!
He is using ToneBoosters Ferox or Reelbus, nice plugs at a very low price, Xerox is also part of one of the cheapest bundles you'll find anywhere www.toneboosters.com/tb-trackessentials-bundle/
+Computer Music Magazine uh,...man youre complicating things :) otherwise youre doing really good job with computer music....i am satisfied customer for more than 10 years,....keep it that way,....thanks for help here :)
"i like tape" only to use the plugin instead of the tape machine next to him and as a cherry on top the whole tutorial recorded via room mic so you can hear all the subtle nuances and changes (pun very much intended). And then A-B comparisson "with it-without it" via room mic. Kick coming mostly out of my right speaker....... What can i say. This makes not much more sense than just reading an article. Who needs direct audio when you can record mastering advice with a mic in the next room. Don`t get me wrong, i love CM but this video here, though it probably has nice advice i will switch it off after i finish this message cause the way it`s recorded is not possible to enjoy.
I think a key bit of information to know is that this is not where they work mainly. I don't think they have a tape machine in their main workplace, so therefore do rely on tape emulators.
there videos are so vague, sifting through presets isn't benefiting anyone. I doubt on their biggest tracks this was the process. Was expecting way more from these guys, PIGs segment was hard to watch.
It's no longer available. I've got the magazine and the link just takes you to youtube where it says 'This video is no longer available' .... Please fix your broken links @ComputerMusicMag
Did these guys meet in jail ?
It looked like a Jail but it's called a Backroom...
STUDIO jail
they met in a plane
This production masterclass is easily one of the best that CM has done in a while! What a tutorial! Great insight and very inspiring! Thank Pig&Dan!
+rfish2 best ?? wtf ?

Love these guys!
Anyone else wondering at 0:45 the one dude turns around just to watch into the little whole ? ^^

Pig & Dan ------ The MANS !!!
Track ??
Is there any good tutorials. I haven't watched any yet.
check "Pensado`s place" here on YT. Also "Mixbus Tv"
Your probably listen to EDM you little goth
MAKE SOME SERIOUS SCREEN VIDEO CAPTURES DUDES !!!
these guys are amazing but the production of the video SUCKS!!!
This isn't a how too m8, this is a broad overview of their process
Yea I totally agree!
they know what they do

anyone else getting a system-1 after this?
fadsel radsel me xD
Tape saturation plugins when you got real tape right next to you....
that tells something on how "almost the real thing" + "comfort" > "the real thing"
:D:D:D
This is not their own studio. If they had one of those tapes, the'd definitely use it all the time
Pretty well obvious this isn't their studio, and is a mastering studio
hahahahahhahahahahh man thi is exactly what they are like such good guys
12:35 now we'r talking
Spicy techno! Less sage and more chilli! :-)

poor world and not even musician. lol . but if it sounds good i will hear it XD
offf there cake! Too funny! Aciddddddddddd! Acidddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
they are showing nothing just some samples
You obviously didn't watch the video....
"This video is sponsored by Toneboosters"
this is a mastering studio and not a techno producer lab
Nicking someone else's kick? I understand why but it still seems a bit lame to me...
No it's his own Kick from a track of theirs they released already
Many artists do it. Eagles & Butterflies also does this. Many do. If you think that is lame, then so is everyone who sampled anything, ever.
Firstable, I sample a kick. because huu I'm a lazy Pig. okay bye.
