I own both of these and they are unique in their own way with different uses for me. To me eau premiere is more ylang heavy and more floral in general. L’eau is more citrusy and heavier on Jasmine to me with more musk. Love this comparison not many talk about eau premiere.
Hi Christopher! Wonderful video! My first No. 5 purchase was L'Eau, my second was the EDT, and the third was the Parfum (in travel spray). I had tried the EDP at Macy's and that single time caused me not to care for it as much as it seemed much too powdery. I do not like calling it "old lady," but that is what the EDP said to me. But not the EDT and not L'Eau. How would Premiere compare with the EDP? I have wondered if the Premiere would be a good addition to what I have? If I do not really care for the EDP, would Premiere be different? Your recommendations would be appreciated - I purchased L'Eau based on your recommendation and you were absolutely correct! Your videos are the best!
I think you’d find Premiere very different. I do think you should give it a test before making your purchase. To me this scent focuses on the floral elements when it dries down. Unlike the EDP it is warm and inviting. Let me know what you think of it. I’m sure you’ll fall in love once you get to test it out ❤
@@vscents5674 Today, Eau Premiere arrived and it is wonderful! I can't say that I prefer one over the other - they are different. The vanilla note in the Eau Premiere is fantastic and as a flanker it is a wonderful result. In some ways, maybe Eau Premiere might be better suited to cooler temps of fall and L'Eau might better suited to warmer temps of summer? Or just simply choose one over the other based on mood or some other intangible reason. A good addition!

They are both lovely in their own way for sure. Is there one that you prefer? Eau Premiere is a forgotten gem.
Which one long lasting?
Eau Premiere would be longer lasting. L'Eau is wonderful but longevity is not its strongest trait.
