Damn, that's so cool! I tried vector landing recently and couldn't figure it out how to not hit the ground with that speed, but I see point 5 was the key :D I thought it's not needed but with spacebreak it worked so I'll keep trying to perfect it now :) Nice and clean tutorial, keep it up!
