      I spanked them with a Google business review. At least I learned something and I know it is done to my standards. Now the fun part adding the accessories.

    That is ridiculous that you have to pay for further information and wired up incorrectly. You would think a dealership would get it right first time.

    Sounds like you have been wading through a sea of frustration with that dealership. Glad you were able to get it figured out on your own. Looking forward to seeing the other add ones...Like the light bar.

    • @MarkKratzMC
      @MarkKratzMC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. Now that I got the hard stuff done I’ll be adding a light bar with lighted switch, the USB, charging port, and a real Work/floodlight. And a gun rack!

    I can't believe they charged for information. Geez.
    Very cool though.. thanks for the video brother

      Yeah, to find the information you have to purchase their wiring kit. Fortunately, I was able to copy it off the World Wide Web. At least they learned something new.

    Some peoples wiring jobs will make you shake your head. My 65 Panhead was wired with all blue wires.. that got replaced in a hurry. Thank you for sharing this with us, Mark. Stay safe and stay cool

    Sucks when the dealer doesn’t treat their customers right. When I ran a parts department at a Yamaha,Kawasaki dealer we’d bend over backwards to give all the help we could. Guess that’s why we had such a huge and loyal customer base. Glad that’s all that got burned up from that mistake. Stay safe brother and hopefully any other things you have to do to that machine goes without a hitch. 👍👍

      Actually, the relay was fine it just blew the 20A fuse. I spanked them pretty hard on Google. I am a Google reviewer for local businesses. It was an education, but at least I know it’s done to my standards. Thanks for commenting.

      I’m a Google business reviewer so I spanked them pretty hard online. It just sucks that I had to trace their wiring job. I could’ve used that lab coat.

    Any device that requires the key start ( terminal block ) to send a voltage to the devices relay to be turned on is always connected to the key ignition post. This will send power ( only when the key is on ) to signal the device's internal relay to click on.

    • @MarkKratzMC
      @MarkKratzMC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, I wanted Key on power since I’m using a lighted switch. I’m building my own wiring harness for the LED light bar. I have a relay and a fuse holder.

    Hey 👋. Question for you. You ran the red power wire from the battery to bus bar , did you run an inline fuse ? I do understand that if you add an accessory to the bus bar , that you should have a inline fuse for example radio , extra lights ect. Just curious if its necessary for a inline fuse from battery to bus bar . Thanks for your thoughts. And video you posted

    Mark what's the terminal product serial number. I'm wondering how its connected internally under the plastic. When I hear Bus bar in my head this means it's all one polarity ( not always the case as the internal design of this bar connector may have a different internal design.

    • @TheWickerShireProject
      @TheWickerShireProject ปีที่แล้ว

      If its a terminal block each post is an independant polarity dependant on what each post connects to ( positive or a negative).
      This looks like any post can be any polarity depending on what wire polarity is attached.
      If its a true busbar its a solid plate inside with three posts.
      My hint was when you said Positive and negatives going to the posts.
      This is means each post independent thus a Terminal block.

    • @MarkKratzMC
      @MarkKratzMC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s not connected. And there is nothing in their owners manual about it. I called Polaris for us and they told me to call the dealer. You can basically set it up anyway you want. The only information you get is if you buy their wiring kit. Anyway, I learned something and now I know it’s done correctly.

    Maek can i wire double add ons to a single bus bar post without overloading the circuit?

    • @MarkKratzMC
      @MarkKratzMC  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for leaving a comment. Sorry but I was sick the last three weeks. It depends on the requirements of the device. With LED lights it’s more forgiving since they don’t draw as much as normal bulbs. As long as you have a proper fuse, it should protect your system. I hope that answers your question.
