Dr. Falk, did the Ancient Egyptians believe that their gods literally looked like how they were portrayed?, i.e. if an Egyptian Pharaoh entered the afterlife, he would be talking face-to-face with Anubis as a humanoid with a Jackal head, Khepera a human body with a giant Scarab for a head, Sobek a human with a Crocodile head, and their gods literally looking like how the Egyptians drew them in the world of the living, etc. Or did Egyptians believe that these drawings and statues were just artistic/metaphorical representations of their gods, and that their gods were in reality spirits with no discernible physical appearance?, like how for example, classical Western Christian art portrays God the Father as a Moses-esque old man with a big beard, but in Christian theology, only God the Son has a human body, and God the Father is a spirit with no physical body?

Dr. Falk, thank you for your videos. They mean more to me than I can say, especially concerning the evidence for the exodus. I was wondering, do you have any books available, or do you have any that you would recommend that could be used as the basis for a short teaching series on the evidence for the exodus? I would love to take some time this coming school year to teach my seniors in our Christian school about this before they head off to college and be misinformed. I ask you, because I know there are a lot of books out there that can be used to teach about the evidence for the exodus, but your case in particular is very compelling and free from a lot of the apologetic errors that a lot of people make. I don’t want to teach people about evidence that doesn’t actually exist or that is promoting a chronology that doesn’t make sense.
@@mugglesarecooltoo I have Egyptological sources for Mahes, e.g., Wilkinson. I have seen nothing so far that connotes any plausible similarities between Mahes and Jesus. But I'm sure that there are many contrived or even "unsourced" similarities floating around.
This is great insight for anyone wanting to create a religion in a fantasy book. 😁
Makes for better world building
Jedi Temple!
Amazing video and from the real deal. this topic is more relevant than people may realize. These videos should go viral
You forgot the cost of getting the Egyptologist to guide the process and provide the blueprints for building and decorating. Add 200 Million.🎉
Wow, that would be a nice pay day. Sigh... a man can dream....
I am truly waiting for the building of the pyramids and tombs price today. Thank you!!!
How'd you know my summer goal?😂
🤣
Sweet video series idea! 🫶🏻
Also, ‘Could be’ a stellar hands-on project for a miniature diorama, a digital 3-D model, etc.
I wonder if a miniature diorama would scale down in pricing in the same way. 🤔

Without watching the video - I imagine it's at least $0.2bn
You're low. 😂

I imagine it will depend
It depends.
Hopefully the conscious community is taking notes
Also: Will we be tested on this on the tour?
The Conscious Community is following none of this. The gods of Egypt must be furious with them. 😂

This is too well researched, along with modern supplies, for me to not assume that Dr. Falk has not considered starting his own egyptian cult.
🤣
Now I'm ready.
Maybe I can get AT Ministries or Jack Ray to chip in on the expenses🤣
If we’re talking about an Egyptian temple, I’ll have to pass. If we’re talking about a temple to YHWH, gimme a few months lol
@a.t.ministries5376 That wouldn't really be an Egyptian cult though 🤔🤣

Potentially Talbot Slade could also assist.

What do you think of the superficial similarities between Maahes and Jesus? Specifically the titles applied to Maahes.
I think that I'm skeptical of superficial similarities especially when they come from less than reputable sources.

Be careful. Someone is going to use this info to start a new religion movement.
Those who start NRMs will do so anyway.... this only points to how their NRM lacks credibility.

Let's start pooling our funds 😆
😂😂😂 brilliant
So, do they have to be real Egyptian gods they actually worshiped, or does it matter?
Next step: be a virgin for life??
That's one thing that isn't required for an Egyptian cult. But the next step is no less surprising. 😉
