Celtic Fusion 2024 KCSTA Pipes & Drums - Amazing Grace

Hi Everyone,
Posting some videos from our band's successfully oversold concert here. This was Celtic Fusion 2024 featuring The Kansas City St. Andrew Pipes and Drums in concert. People came from far and wide to listen and watch one of the oldest and biggest pipe bands the Midwest.
Every bagpiper will know of Amazing Grace and it's impact on others. This version, I can safely say, made a profound impact on me. The American Opera Studio joins the band for the hymn and the pipers play Rest Me Easy Lord in the middle. Easily the most beautiful version I've ever heard and been a part of .

Oh hell no! Just why is the keyboard included in this?

@@maryfehrenbach9893 For several reasons. Mostly because we like it in there, but also because it ties the pitch of the pipes and the singers together. Seeing as how the pipes aren’t in concert pitch, the piano was the only reference point for the singers to start in the correct key/pitch.
Moreover, I like the sound and what it added to a tune that is more or less boring for us pipers to play. Thanks for your input, but we’ll keep it like it is.
