I’m so sorry you’ve been receiving threats, getting dragged on Reddit, etc. For my own mental health, I stopped going there several months ago. 👍 2. I love that you mod for creators you believe in. 3. I view DOA as a chaos-stirrer and very manipulative. I disagree strongly with his “You’re with us or you’re against us” ultimatums. His followers treat him like something of a cult leader, which disturbs me. 4. Mod wars are pointless. The creators I’ve modded for have never asked me to do anything underhanded, be an ambassador (or a spy) on other channels, etc. 5. I don’t watch much protester/streamer content, and never have. But among those I have seen, Streets is the cream of the crop. He knows what he’s doing, he’s respectful but extremely firm, he’s reliable and straightforward. So I love that you’re one of his mods. 6. I believe Aaron is even more manipulative than DOA, and also a chaos-stirrer. During the 1-2 hours I spent listening to (and talking to) him in Miami before and after the SPTV cruise, Aaron slandered at least 8 prominent SPTV creators and a couple of mods and “spilled tea” about strings he was pulling in the background, who shouldn’t be dating whom, who was for sure doing which illicit substances, etc. He showed his true character, which was quite disappointing to me as someone who’d watched nearly all his content over the previous ~3 years. I knew through independent other sources that at least some of his allegations were highly exaggerated or products of his own speculations and assumptions. So I ended up not believing most of his allegations. And all this was with me and a gaggle of other women he’d never met before, whose screen names he didn’t even recognize. He was positively gleeful recounting much of what he had to say. He came across as sleazy and juvenile. Ick. 7. Barb had a lot to say the other night. I take her word for it about her interactions with Aaron, although I believe she may have been manipulated in ways she didn’t even recognize. At least, I know he didn’t seem to think much of her four months or so ago, in Miami. 8. Barb was all over the place in her allegations against Reese and especially Tommy. She threw out as “facts” many things that were actually no more than speculation; she exaggerated (I’d like to think unintentionally, but it was still damaging) a LOT. For example, Huxley was not 12 at any time Barb was talking to Reese. (He’s now 15, and Reese was outed 2 years and 3 weeks ago.) Another example: Tommy was 16 at the time he was caught in the stairwell with his 15 year old girlfriend - not “19 or 20.” Does Reese parent Huxley in a more hands-off way than most modern parents? Yes. Does that make it wrong? No. Huxley’s school sounds less than ideal, but he seems to be turning out fine. Does Reese talk about designer eyewear and makeup and women’s anatomy, and sometimes come across as shallow? Sure thing, she does. And?? People who don’t approve or don’t like her content can easily go elsewhere. Particularly in the last six months or so, Reese has been delving more deeply into the many ways she’s received lasting damage because of standard Scientology practices. Now that she has greater distance from it, she sees more clearly just how abusive it is, particularly to children. She’s getting the message across to a broad swath of people who don’t watch protesters or most other streamers. Is she brash? Yes. Is she effective? Also yes. 8. Is Tommy sober? No. He says as much. He runs an anti-addiction channel, not an anti-drug channel. Some have claimed he’s still on H and/or GHB. I’d like to see some evidence of that; it doesn’t make sense in the context of his current life. Does Tommy have a temper? Absolutely! Has he lashed out at others on the Boat? Definitely. He regrets this, and has apologized to many. He hasn’t done this recently, even while he and Reese were broken up late this summer. Since getting that experimental drug out of his system and offloading much of the overhead of running the Boat, he’s become much more mellow. In short: I have no idea about any of the DOA/Kenny/Streets mods/etc. stuff, but I appreciate your showing receipts, and what I heard of your story was quite credible. I hope you will look for similar levels of evidence before taking as fact the sensationalist claims made by Barb backed up by no more than speculation. Also, please know that Barb has been anything but silent since her split from Reese and Tommy. On the SPTV cruise, many people were talking about what gossip they’d been hearing from Barb. This may be her first public/TH-cam exposure, but she’d already been spreading plenty of vitriol far and wide, for months. I just can't watch my friend being bashed left and right, especially after what I went through. She deserves to never be treated in a negative way. People can hate me all they want.
