Great video very usefull, simple and understanding.
Also while you were building the printer the 2 drive shafts/rods left and right seemed very unstable after building it they were stable right?

I really don't like that ribbon cable either...how many wires/contacts does it have? I mean...it's a bit more but I bet a small length of something like Igus Chainflex would be a nice design choice.

Hey! loved the video, but I've been waiting on an update/review on the printer. No one seems to have one. How does it actually print? Worth the money? How does it stack up to the CR-10 etc? Any help on these would be huge.

Good first impressions video. As I said in my comments on Fridays show I appreciate that your presentation was very straight forward and honest. BTW....loved the tribute to Dr. King in the beginning....Jackie Robinson day is coming up ...I call it baseball’s Passover as like the Passover we tell his story every year so future generations of baseball players and fans never forget it

Can you tell me the size of the machine itself ? Can't find it anywhere.

I've been suggesting Anycubic to do a machine this size, keep the same I3 Mega architecture but make it bigger. This machine seems to be in that direction, size wise and kind of architecture wise, but the cableing and open under platform structure need to be cleaned up, as it is pretty distracting.
It looks like they were trying to make a CR10 structure into an Anycubic platform, but made it half ***.
The Anycubic I3 Mega did a great job at keeping the machine clean, logical (AC Cable at the far rear as well as all the cabling behind the tower) the single piece tower makes the machine solid. The angled front panel is similar to the Anycubic, nice but, it seems to be just a front box, not a complete under the platform covered structure. That side mounted LCD screen is another distracting feature. I like symmetry on static machines, it is not a car that you have to place the steering wheel on the side. I do see that they probably did this because of the cable that runs on the same side. Again, if we look at the Anycubic I3 Mega, this shoud be a good reference for good solid design, It is not the ultimate design, but it is by far the most logical design and solid machine I have used in that price range . Also the graphics are much better on the Anycubic, simple and easy to acces. Of course, all this is from an aesthetical point of view, without even considering the print quality. Would like to see this printer in action.

MIA Micro-FLIGHT they must be onto something though because Creality, the market leader in affordable large scale printers, seems to have used a lot of this design in their CR-X.

Have not been able to get nice prints with the D9. My other 2 printers have much nicer prints!
Now my D9 has stopped working after 1 week :(
Not recommended....poor design for rails, cables etc...

Looks nice but I will not be buying anything Wanhao. I was shipped a lesser printer than I paid for and the parent company just kissed me off.

I can't say it was fun but once it was all together it is a good machine. The lack of documentation is a huge pain.

From the time you opened the box you seemed to have a negative attitude toward this printer! then when you mysteriously discovered the instruction were on the SD Card you then had a negative attitude that your Computer did not access the SD, then when you discovered it was your fault for NOT placing the card in the reader. Every part you tried to install you had a negative attitude. You also did NOT like they did not make it the way you like and mucking about again the way they made the assembly. If this is the way you review new items then you do not need to review Printers or anything. Just because you are set in your old ways of doing things DO NOT fault the Device. As you made clear "I am not a fan of this and that". I am 71 years old and this technology is new to an old man, I am a child of the Lincon Log and Tinker Toys and you are much younger than that so have a better attitude when you start your reviews. "I am not a huge fan of the way they put this together" and I am NOT a great fan of the way you reviewed this Printer!!!!!

Likely the worst 3D printer review I have ever seen. If you dislike something then suggest how YOU would make it better otherwise its just bitching. How exactly would you route the ribbon cable for instance? You never really demonstrated how it printed, wouldn't this be part of a good unbiased product review?

"From the time you opened the box you seemed to have a negative attitude toward this printer"
      **Opens the box**
      "It's packed really well"
