I don't like that the bike is literally being held by the pressure on the front wheel lock. With rough roads there will be pressure pushed into that wheel. I wished they made a double arm for the not just the front but also for the back wheel as well. I honestly do not think that using the tires to basically hold the bike is not a very good idea, some frame hold is also needed on the seat post for example. With these wheel lock type bike racks you will eventually have front wheel issues specially on 25C or lower tires.

Can the Kurt no be used with a bike that has a front fender? Can I just not put the front tire hold down so far back?

NO ebike is only 60 lbs. Lightest I know of is the Cannondale Adventure Neo S coming in at around 64 lbs. plus we have the step through issue...

There are many ebike under 40lbs, including mine, which weight 39lbs with the battery.
