After being in the RV Industry for the last 35 years these were the best made RV's of the time. I installed a satellite dish on my in laws Chinook and was amazed at the thickness of the roof. I also towed a 27' walk around cuddy Pro Line boat from Pennsylvania to southern Florida and it towed like it wasn't even back there. The only problem I saw was the coffee maker cord was too short to reach the under cabinet outlets so we had to stack a couple books on the counter for the appliance to sit on so we could plug it in to make coffee.
@@stevebiloschaetzke779 Yeah the new ones are crap quality compared to the older Chinooks....I like the older ones so much I own 2....a side entry and 4x4 diesel!
I've been considering having 4x4 installed on my Chinook for over 10 years. They were building class into Chinooks before any other brands. Can I add the B+ is far superior to the B. Is it time for me to upgrade to a new rig, or update my rig? I have standing offers to buy my rig, but I can't let it go.
That V10 is a 6.8 liter. And I know exactly what went into that $X$ conversion LOL, I had mine done 5 years ago. Looks like mine- a 6" lift. Cool rig, hang onto it...
I had a 2014 E-350 full equipped ambo 10k lbs. High top. At 65mph thru mountain of western pa cruise control 15-15.5 mpg. So, 10 mpg isn't out of the question on flats. SUPER dependable, easy to work on, gas is 30% cheaper now where I live, AND cold winter starts are NEVER a thing to worry about.!!! .
Please, don't move your camera so much. I actually get sick. Also, all your shots are so in your face that we don't even get to see the layout. Uhm, stop saying, uhm!

Whats the price tag an does it have a tow hitch
Chinook and Born Free are two of the best built RVs, ever! Too bad they're both out of business now.
Chinook is in Indiana from Washington state.😉
@@PureMI-008 . The place in Indiana just bought the Chinook name. They don't have anything to do with these rigs.

@@Charbelis So why not tell us the amount it sold for then?
@@armagedon3on3 You can take any Chinook 1992 and newer and convert to 4x4 for $15K-$25K depending on the installer.
The 4x4 conversion was done by the hack in Utah
Maybe it's just me, but I get really agitated to hear too many um's and uhh's so I muted the volumn. Nice rv though I want one.

Is this for sale and how much !
Tell the price" if your selling it. Hello
i would add a Natural gas kit hybrid controller to save 50% on gas. We r doing conversions everyday South of the Border...
@@rightright6582 that's awesome. So it uses natural gas then?
@ both, natural gas n fuel , on or the other at the switch of a botton. The cost is 1500 dollars

"Sort of" a good RV
How much
very good
Nice camper truck
Let’s settle at 6.8L
Not to be picky, but you say the word UM so many times. Pls try to reduce this unnecessary lazy english word.
Yea I need to work on that.
It really is annoying. Sorry. Did you prepare for this tour or was it last second?
Practice your delivery and try to find someone to videotape you and your presentation
@@Susan2361 last second.
Maybe the idiots can just watch without sound...the video speaks volumes without the narrative. Good job!
👍
And…it is a 6.8 liter V10
So…13 mpg at best. $3,000 in tires every 30k miles.
Oh my God...whats with all the umms....🤨
Sorry Debra.
Love the RV.
But that’s likely the absolute worst RV tour I’ve ever seen.
I guess in a way I can only get better...
@@Charbelis good answer good answer.
Dude. Write a script before doing a video. Stop with the close up shots. Be still for a second or two before moving..use a gimbel

Agreed. Almost didn't want to post it.
