That happened to me recently for the first time in a long time. eBay ruled in my favor, but scammers step up their efforts big time during the holiday season. I usually get one or two in December.
Thank you for sharing your physical and mental health struggles with us, Mel. You are so encouraging while still acknowledging how tough it is to persevere through pain and tough days, and I appreciate your candor as it helps me feel like I’m not alone in my own struggles. Best of luck on this week’s listing challenge! Can’t wait to hear how it goes 💜
We all have our own inner battles and demons and it’s a shame people hide them. I’ve always been quite open with my mental health and I do think it helps to be comfortable to talk about it. The more we can talk about it the more we normalise it. Life can be hard sometimes and it’s hard to stay positive and motivated all the time. Having wonderful supportive friends around you is important and being self aware is key. Take care and know your never alone ❤️
Glad to hear you are doing better, health can be one of the things we seem to neglect the most because it's easy to do. I've been scammed before but eBay ruled on my side so it all worked out.
Fabulous Mel. Yes the gut is the core for the rest of our body. I had major skin problems. It wasn't resolved with Medicines from the Drs multiple times until I changed my diet.
Wow isn’t that crazy. It would never have occurred to me that all these other issues could be my gut! But when the chiro started deeply pressing around on it and it was so sore! I’ll be interested to see how I’m feeling after a few months.
I also sell primarily books and have yet to get scammed on a book. I did get scammed on a DVD sale. Should have known better. Buyer asked to ship carefully, write Fragile on the box, etc. etc. When they got it, international to Canada, sent back pics of it being damaged and also included how much it would cost me to ship it back. Seemed too eager to let me know! Hope you continue to feel better!
Hi Mel Sorry to hear about your scammer. Hope it gets sorted real soon. So glad to hear that you are feeling a lot better and your mojo is back. Another interesting video. Hope sales pick up again so you have more space in the shed for your challenge listings. Go girl!
Glad you are feeling better Mel..I recently got rid of Coke, coffee and sugar and got better sleep (early nights) and my energy levels have been amazing and way less aches and pains - no more afternoon slumps now and no naps needed anymore.. But the minute I start eating sugary foods again I start feeling tired and achey again..so getting sugar out of diet is huge..sugar is VERY inflammatory.
Yeah I’m trying to get off that Coke Zero. I’ve cut it right back so I’m trying to drink more water. I’m not sure I can (or want) to cut coffee yet but I do only have a weak long black without any sugar so it shouldn’t be too bad for me.
Glad you're doing better. I fully believe in my Chiropractor. I sure need a kick in the butt or actually get some stuff off my plate. I have so much, it's overwhelming so I end up doing nothing. You're always a sweet part of my day 💜
Nice to have a pack & chat video. You seem much brighter. If it isn’t raining first thing I’m going to go out for a walk to start the day. Used to do it through lockdown & need to start again!
I'm so happy to see that you are feeling better, Mel! YESSSS, everything that goes on in our body, stems from the gut. I learned this a couple of years ago, when I was apart of a company that sold gut products. I learned SO much! I have an autoimmune condition, and when I started working on my gut (getting off ALL dairy, sugar, gluten and soy), everything that I was going through, started to improve. Today, I feel GREAT!! It's amazing how something so simple as just changing our way of eating and repairing our gut, can changed so much around in our body, for the good....and bad (if you start eating bad). Your chiro was spot on, and thankful he/she gave you great suggestions.
I have the same pain as you described. The doctor said it was Trochanteric Bursitis in my hip which aggravates my sciatic nerve and when both of them have a party I have pain in my lower back and hip so bad that I have trouble standing, and walking without sitting down for a minute to even get the kitchen mopped.
Yep, totally agree with you. I always eat well, walk daily and take care of myself and haven't been sick or in pain in years since I turned my diet around and started walking. I truly believe you are what you eat - great to hear you are doing better! :)
Well done, it’s hard to get into that healthy habit and you have done it and stuck to it. I’m going to give it my all and hope that the Chiro was correct. They do say the gut is the second brain.
I got scammed this week. I had a book listed for $380 and a buyer without feedback offered $300. I didn’t accept the offer but the buyer kept messaging me about it. Eventually I accepted (bad decision haha) and the buyer sent a message thanking me and said they were so excited to finish their set. The book was delivered on Nov 7th and on Nov 13th the buyer did a chargeback. I’m hoping I will win the case but with chargebacks its decided by the bank, although eBay's seller protection might cover the loss regardless of the banks decision. If I loose I might try and report the case to the buyers local police station. Also, thanks for all your videos Mel! I really enjoy your channel and always get new book selling ideas! 😄
I've had a few of these disputes over the years from otherwise happy buyers and uploading the tracking worked every time. Most were inexpensive items (maybe $12 on average). Find it hard to believe someone would go through the hassle of disputing a $12 item with their credit card, especially after leaving great feedback. I've had to do a CC dispute once, and it was pretty involved. I always suspected something else was going on - like maybe the card was compromised and all purchases in that billing cycle were automatically disputed. Who knows.
Make sure to add B12 to your diet... my dad had leg/sciatica pain and he had to go on B12 shots (because it was really bad) and now has B12 and D vitamins on his "must take" daily supplements. Glad you are feeling better!
I would think that since the buyer left you positive feedback he/she was not out to scam you. Sometimes people honestly forget what the charge is for when it comes through. Or, perhaps the account is shared with others in the household and the disputed did not know the purchase had been made. I am confident that you will receive your payment.
I thought the same thing…. Maybe the wife bought a book and the husband didn’t recognise the transaction, or vice-versa. It happens to me when my hubby buys things. By the time you get the credit card bill, it can be a month and a half later and it’s not easy to identify online purchases sometimes. Hopefully it all gets resolved, for you, Mel!
I normally do have mats under the shipping and photo stations but I moved them when I had a water leak a couple weeks ago and I’ve forgotten to put them back! Thank you for spotting that!
Sounds like your Chiropractor was very honest. At least she didnt have you coming back for treatment's that wouldn't have worked. Always love your videos. Peace!
Have you tried looking at any foods you eat which causes inflammation. It can cause joint or muscle pain. It can also help your mind. Healthy food healthy mind and body.
I’m watching what I eat so carefully now that hopefully if I introduce something new and feel terrible I will pick up on that. I think I’m much better without dairy and gluten.
Well snap! Got a payment dispute too on the weekend. Buyer has had the item now for over 2 months and left positive feedback also. They said they did not recognise the transaction, so thankfully seller protection from eBay in this case I won’t lose out. Same thing happened a few months ago, but in that case at the time the buyer was a serial offender for disputes (a lot of complaints in their feedback) and eBay banned them. I would if you haven’t already give follow-up feedback on them so other sellers r aware - fingers crossed it goes your way!!
SO Glad you are feeling better. How dare someone come along and scam our adorable sweet as sugar Mel, you are ALWAYS so positive and kind, shame on them!! I watch you because you make it fun, you are informative and I learn so much. Have a safe blessed Mel and I hope you have an amazing fourth quarter, you so deserve it :)
When you were describing the pain that you had it definitely sounds like your sciatic nerve which took almost a year for it to go away and heal when I had a problem with my sciatic nerve. The way that it happened was when I lifted something that was way too heavy for me and there was a pop in my hip. Literally had to pick my foot up to put it into my pant leg for the first couple months because it hurts so bad in my hip to lift my leg. Then gradually over. I’ve literally about a year and eventually just healed and went away. It totally sucked!
The walks is what helps you the most eating good is great obviously but walking helps strengthen your muscles that support your skeletal system. When your sciatic nerve hurts it’s because your headphones and your leg bone or pinching your sciatic nerve damage the tissue in there lifting something too heavy and by walking your strengthening your muscles and rebuilding that tissue. I’m glad you’re feeling better.
The worst scam I had as a buyer was back in the day when you still sent checks out to people and I sent $2000 for a pallet of books. Well they cashed the check but I never got the books. And they were a big seller with huge feedback. That one stung. The worst as a seller was a $500 lot of Monster High dolls I shipped to Canada, they said they never got them. Filled a dispute and as soon as they won the dispute the dolls showed up for sale on their ebay lol Ugh both of those still sting a little, but its all part of ebay. Getting able to get past the scams will keep you in business.
Ebay sales were very slow this weekend, not sure why. They do seem like they are starting to pick back up. Not sure why that happens, maybe everyone is trying to get the holiday stuff ready.
Just recently we ordered a pair of surgical scissors, and when we received the package there were scalpels in it. Everything on the eBay description showed scissors. So when we contacted the seller through eBay and told them we were returning the items they asked us if we would take a $25 credit? And we're like no we needed scissors not scalpels. So then we had to get eBay involved. These people ask you to take $25 credit while you get a product you don't need.
At 2:35 there was mention that the buyer's name started with "scamm-something". As a big seller, I realize you don't have time to check their names or feedback history, however as a small seller, I do check both, and that has helped to prevent being scammed. I also don't offer free shipping, because I want to know that my customer has some Skin in the Game. What I would like to learn, is how to prevent the type of scam you are going through, where the scammer uses their credit card company to help them with their scam. So sorry this has happened to you.
Hi there we love watching your videos in the uk, hope you e in the scam case there's nothing worse after all the hard work you put in. Anyways hope you get to the bottom of the pain all the very best x
Hi Mel. I loved seeing the books I purchased from you on the weekend on your video this morning. I purchased some for Xmas gifts for family because we do a sustainable Xmas and others I brought for myself. Delighted with the quality of the books, the great sale and the amazing packaging. Thanks jodie 🎉 (Happy reseller and now customer!)
I had a buyer purchase a heap of vintage toys that were pretty expensive. A few separate orders. I explained standard international post takes weeks if not a couple of months which they said they were fine with. After 2 weeks they opened cases on all items and the funds were on hold. They kept trying to get refunded through eBay but luckily EBay kept putting the cases on hold. All items delivered and they left negatives on all. Happy to say EBay does look out for sellers sometimes and it was all removed. I hope yours closes soon!
wow.. I have the same kind of scam in dispute right now!!! also showed delivered it is for a ((2006 Dodge Magnum R/T Jada Dub City BIG TIME Muscle 1 of 6 in Collection 1:64)) mine is just a $17 for toy and shipping. My buyer is from Puerto Rico so I guess we will see what happens. I hope this isn't the start of a bad trend.... Thanks for so many great video's I have learned a lot from you. 🥳
I would also buy a pair of birken stock shoes. They do wonders for your feet legs and hip and back pain. You will be shocked at how comfortable their shoes are. How do you keep track of all your books? Let alone find the books you sell?
My son wears those, so ugly! But he does say they are really comfy. Maybe I’ll look into some for summer! I’m all about the comfort after all this! I did buy some Hoka sneakers which have been fantastic
@@backfromburnout I embraced the ugly and it cured me! I had plantar faciitis which didn't even allow me to stand, walk, or sleep! I researched online and got a pair of Florida SOFT bed Birkenstock sandals. I work from home so I wear them all day. They have a toe-bar and arch support. I get several YEARS out of a pair because it's just indoors. Then I researched and bought too many insoles until I found the winner. Amazon: ProFoot Original Miracle Insole. Only the light blue. Around $10. Those two items allowed me to walk, stand and sleep again. From the first day!! The insoles are very thin and they mold to your feet. They are not meant for bare feet They're for a sock and sneakers. One pair lasts a crazy long time!! Don't remove them from the sneaker once inserted. Those of us that use them, keep an insole inserted for every closed shoe and sneaker we wear. I cured myself and that feels good! Love to recommend. I have no idea if I would have had same results if I just did one of those things. Good Luck!!
I have been scammed by a buyer, the buyer filed a case and said they did not receive the item. They got the money and then the very next day, tracking showed the delivery. They did not report that they got the item and I was out of the money, plus a ding on my account. It was over the holiday season, so the mail was backed up. I can’t remember if I called Ebay and got them to fix my account or not.
Often these are not denying they have received the item it is just they dont recognise the transaction on the their CC statement, Often it happens when some other member of the family used it, or there are a whole bunch of items they dont recognise for some reason and you get caught in a sweeping dispute... Always a good idea to contact buyer direct and explain what it is and that often solves it.
I got the old switcheroo scam done to me on an electronic device. I sent a non working item (as described) cheap and got hit with an INAD return. OK fine but then the item returned had a different serial number and all. The actual serial number was all right there in my listing too. I couldn't find out how to not refund the buyer as it ended up automated by eBay so I put a fraud report in, reported the buyer and blocked. Some people are the worst kinds of buyers/sellers
Yes,,,this has happened to me too. I'm a Top Rated/Power Seller on eBay, and I sold a set of vintage leather encyclopedias that had their own shelf. The total of the sale was a little over $400 because I had sold them with FREE SHIPPING..so it was COSTLY. I took it to UPS to have them box it and ship it. So a third party is involved. The buyer sent me a picture of how the box had gotten "beat up" but no pics of the shelf, and when I told him that he had to call the UPS store (as per UPS when I contacted them about it) and then they would send out an inspector since it was a large $$ amount he was asking for in a refund to see the evidence since they had packaged it and sent. He told me "nevermind"..... LOLOLOLOLOLOL,,,, a second one said that he received a Funko in pristine condition with a ding on the packaging,,,he put the "ding" there,,, I asked him to send it back and I would be happy to refund then he put a negative remark...so I reported him after calling ebay and showing them the correspondence. They took his negative remark down, and he told me nevermind, he would keep it. LOL....
That f. Up I got rip on f book sale page 65 and whent to the bank I put the $ in at but as I with another bank and put into BSB ACC. Skaming dog s thay seed go to the cops. As it was commonwealth bank I put the $ into the person BSB ACC but cas I with nab bank. ..thay told me to report it but stuff going to the cop s thay will take to long. To get my $ back.
Yes this has happened to me 3 times. The first time sold collectable item the bank sided with buyer. Thankfully PayPal covered the loss. The second time I sent items in a box the buyer said they got a different item and third I sent a calender they said they didn't receive.
so sorry this happened however I think in Australia we are fairly lucky that scammers are not as common. I have been a seller of wool for spinning and felting for about 6 yrs and have only had about 2 scammers. I have recently started doing books as well and am loving it. Im near Albury so totally understand where you are coming from. I needed to create an income that i could do from bed if i needed to because of health issues some days i am in too much pain to stand so i have worked out how to list with minimal physical effort. where there is a will there is a way.
Another good video Mel. Yes have had a couple of those disputes. The worst was for almost $400. Buyer signed for the parcel. I supplied an Aust Post proof of signature and still lost the dispute. That hurt! Mel do you have the Ebay App on your phone? As you can just scan those parcels with no manual input needed. Glad to see you on the health kick as it is really agreeing with you. :-)
Do you have a padded mat that you stand on when you're packing? Hard floors are very hard on the back and joints (I stand all day for work, it's a game changer). I love my chiro!!
Health wise I have had autoimmune type issues for a couple of years now and really weird symptoms. I thought my issues were skeletal as well but all testing was fine. Autoimmune stuff is so hard to diagnose. I went vegan and really tried to look at what I was eating. Focusing on eating for fuel etc. symptoms still flair up but it’s noticeably different.
Hi Mel. My name is Mike and Im in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Been loving the videos. I have been dealing with the same type of pain and it sounds like the sciatic nerve. It is almost identical to my issue. Hope i am right and hope you start feeling better
Hi Mike, I did ask the dr and he said it could be a pinched nerve somewhere even in my groin area. I had a lot of different scans and nothing was very conclusive so I’ll see what happens after a few months of testing out the really clean diet. Fingers crossed and hope you’re feeling better.
Can you post an update on what happened please. I have a buyer who bought a book from me and if claiming the book is a counterfeit. It's a college textbook, i cant even begin to understand how this person can say that
I was away so dispatched something late. The buyer said the wrong item arrived and opened a request. They then opened a dispute whilst I was trying to work out if I’d sent the wrong item. The dispute said missing part. I message them and confirmed the missing part and send it out with tracked delivery. I then asked them to cancel the dispute after confirming that the part has arrived. I called eBay and asked about the lack of ability to leave notes, only a photo. I asked them does it matter if the photo is a word document with notes saved as a picture, they said no. I wrote a page of notes chronologically with proof of postage photo. A few weeks later the case was found in my favour.
I love your chiropractor! She/he could've been treating you for nothing and charging you. Instead, they were honest and made other recommendations that only benefit you.
Yes. And she took an hour to look me over thoroughly and listen to my symptoms. Not just a 10min GP visit where they listen, write a scan referral without even doing a proper physical.
I had a buyer who bought 3 vintage postcards, COMBINED the shipments and immediately filed a dispute after receiving the items. I uploaded the tracking number that showed they received the package but their financial institution disputed the payment. Thanks to eBay I was protected with buyer protection. It is not fair these people get their items for free! They can always send them back and get their money back. They are major scammers. I have started asking for signature confirmation for any buyer that seems a little weird. Those who ask a lot of questions, those who send offers much lower than the actual price and those with vague profiles.
The same thing happened to me and yes, it took awhile but eBay handled the whole thing. They sent a rebuttal to the credit card company and still the company sided with the buyer. Not sure why because the buyer made the purchase and did not have a problem with the item, yet told the CC company that he didn’t recognize the charge. The good news is that I was protected by eBay’s seller protection and I wasn’t charged back for anything and am able to keep the funds from the sale. Sometimes we don’t like having to pay so much in seller fees but eBay came through for me and I appreciate that they gave me that protection as it was a large item to ship. I am just a small seller with only 47 active items (no store) but still I was protected.
Mel can you chat with eBay customer support about that payment dispute to explain to them you got positive feedback from the eBay buyer. Maybe that will help you win the dispute.
Great video Mel! Before you started saying about feeling better I thought to myself how wonderful and fresh you look. Vitamin D is definitely mood booster! Also I think you’ll win your case. I have worked in a bank and with investigation they’ll get pinged.
i am so glad even though you called her a quack, that you listened to the very wise and kind chiro! so glad you're better!!! its funny, you say "why would i ever think this is gut related?' and i think " how can SO MANY not know this!!!! " you know the old saying " you are what you eat".....wellllll when we eat garbage, our bodies turn into dumpsters lol. EVERYTHING stems from the gut. ALL dis-ease (see what that word ACTUALLY is???)comes from gut issues. Look into what's bad for you (that's touted as healthy) such as eggs, meat, rice and other highly inflammatory foods, and you'll be right as rain soon!
I'm curious to if you have had any dealings with selling books to Instagood on Ebay. I just started selling books on Ebay, and they bought two of them in the last two days. They have over 125,000 reviews with a 100% positive feedback. However while doing a search, some people say they were scammed by them. From further research, it looks like they flip the books they buy on Ebay, and sell through a store on Amazon. Just curious, as I don't want to block them from buying if they are legit in their transactions. I do know they are slow to pay at the moment, as I actually haven't received payment yet. Thanks
@@backfromburnout So far the info I have found is that they are supposed to be The Media Monkey which is an Amazon book store, and shipments are fulfilled by Amazon. Another thing I saw was where they help supply used book stores around Florida and Georgia. Most likely they are 100% legit, but possibly some people are just trying to discredit them. They seem to be buying a lot of books from Ebay sellers, so I'm guessing it will come across your desk at some point. Looks like the owners end up being labeled as Bill or Barbara Alexander. I will let you know how it goes, LOL. As I said, I'm just getting started, and felt like it may of been a red flag :)
Not me, but my brother when eBay was quite new and he paid over PayPal for a mini. An actual car, and then he received an address, drove 250 miles and ended up in random car park in rural Scotland. So many red flags but my brother is/was a little naive. 😂
I had something similar happen to me with a ps4 console, I woke up 1 morning with an item not received case on the ps4 that had sold a good few months back but I didn't really think much of it and thought could be a glitch or something, end result the buyer got a full refund but from eBay not myself which was a relief, still not sure what or how that could happen coz the buyer also had left good feedback beforehand. I'm thinking maybe they're account got hacked possibly. 🤔
Keep an eye on your bank Acct. Mine gave $ back after being scammed on a shopify store. Then they took it back. For several months they're are debits and credits! Stripe sent compelling evidence which included a url to the dodgy store so they took it back again!
I am guessing that this buyer was actually confused. I have seen other sellers say that the name that buyer sees on their credit card may not match what they expected. I would send them a message and tell them what has happened. I think there is a good chance they might apologize and remove the dispute.
It should have said eBay though on the bank statement. I don’t think it shows our personal store names as the money goes to eBay and then they pay us out.
Good on you pushing through to find answers for your pain. Don’t worry about what the doctor thinks in regards to you being an hypochondriac or anything. 😂 We know our bodies best and when something’s off we know. Love that you are feeling better. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Keep up all the awesome work?
It sounds to me like they just made a mistake and didn't realise that the payment was for their book purchase I can't understand why they would leave you good feedback if that was their goal ., they may also have memory issues. Did you try messaging them?.
I had one this last week who said I hadn't included a tassle maker with the knitting magazine I sold them. I know I put it inside the magazine but I have no proof. Not happy I ended up giving them a partial refund. When someone messes me around like that I add them to my blocked sellers. Oddly I'd already blocked the user name (as they had already moaned about postage costs) that they e-mailed me from and the person who brought the item had a different user name. It doesn't seem normal for the same person to have two accounts. Really frustrated - I don't sell loads but feel I've been ripped off and they have the tassle maker and I've given them a refund. I did suggest that they return the magazine but they didn't want to do that. Not a happy with this person. Hopefully I never deal with them again - unless they have another e-bay account.
Just tell them to send it back. Someone tried the "this Disc doesn't work, but the other one does" on a 2 pack of Cds. I said okay send everything back including the other CD, the poster and the case. They did nothing. Ever heard of a non scratched CD not working?
@@emusaurus I wish I had said it was a refund or nothing. It took them 2 days to come back after I told them to send it back. Which is why it's so frustrating. Wish I'd taken a photo of what I put in the package. It's people like that that ruin e-bay. So frustrating. I've had another non paying bidder who I chased for the second time tonight now tell me she can't afford the item. Well why did you bid to buy it then ignore my invoices? I just wish that people would say they had made a mistake or they don't want something rather than leave things "hanging". Rant over!
I feel for you because it happened to me. I had a LEGO Chess set and it was $99.00. It was sent and they said Item Not As Described. And they swapped out their bad Chess Board Set with my BRAND NEW LEGO Chess Set. Of course E-Bay sided with them and it took them 22 days to send it back. They held the shipping label and I got it back with the bad board. So I have a chess set that can never be sold. YUP I GOT SCAMMED!!!!
When you respond to the payment dispute. You should be allowed to attach a pdf file. What you want to do is write up a note explaining your side as well the positive comment you received as well maybe screenshot it. Including the tracking and website screenshot showing they received it. You can do this all in word. Once done you wanna convert the word document file into a pdf and most word programs have an export to pdf function. If not there are many online services for free. Attach that and it will be sent to the credit card processor to review. This is why they don't allow you to comment anything and only attach a pdf file. They want you to do the leg work. Good luck and it's ashame people take advantage sellers trying to make an honest living. I always remind them that the next time they get stiffed in life that they remember this transaction.
I looked everywhere and had no option anywhere to add anything but tracking. I did call eBay to notify them and have it out in the file so fingers crossed.
I get annoyed when I win an item, then find out the seller had not dispatched it; the seller did not reply to any of my messages until after I started up a dispute; the seller said that the item was sold on Gumtree, eBay kept asking me to message the seller to resolve the issue, after telling eBay several times that the seller would not reply to my messages, they finally gave me a refund, what a waste of time
@@backfromburnout i was thinkin someone used a stolen card but it was the thiefs ebay page. They may use different stolen cards to buy things on ebay. Because why else would it make sense to leave feedback you know? You said the name was scam something right? My mom got her id stolen and they spent money everywhere and NEVER got caught. My mom got her money back so it was the merchants that were out.
Hi Mel! It sounds like you might have a sciatic nerve pain in your leg and hip. Find stretch videos specific to sciatic nerve pain and do them daily and that should relieve some of that pain. Also, try intermittent fasting. Love your videos! Have an awesome day! 😊
I lost $1000 on a Scam. Sent 5 small items to a Guy in England. He claimed the box arrived EMPTY. Mind you, he had to SIGN for it. So if it arrived empty, he could've simply refused the box. He opened a Case, and I lost. I had over 3000 Feedback at the time. He had a Feedback of 7. I couldn't even claim the Insurance from the Post, because it was Delivered. So I got royally taken. That was around 12 years ago.
I got scammed for £1800. Not going to tell you how they did it as don't want to give ammunition out. I'm always learning and adapting what the bad guys are up to.
That happened to me recently for the first time in a long time. eBay ruled in my favor, but scammers step up their efforts big time during the holiday season. I usually get one or two in December.

I have the same issue, started with one leg, now both. Taking regular short breaks helps a lot. So does support insoles for all your shoes.
Glad to see you getting back on track Mel. Being charged a dispute fee is very annoying!
Hopefully I’ll win the case
You're always a sweet part of my day 💜
Thank you Nana! Sometimes we all need a kick in the butt! Those ruts are easy to fall down!
Nice to have a pack & chat video. You seem much brighter. If it isn’t raining first thing I’m going to go out for a walk to start the day. Used to do it through lockdown & need to start again!
I think the pack and chat update videos are my fave to make. I should make them more regular.
Thanks Cindy, they say the gut is the second brain and does control a lot of the body. I’ll be interested to see how I feel in another few months x
Great video thanks for sharing. I was not aware of that $20 dispute fee. I've lost a couple of these
Yeah it’s a crazy fee on top of a loss. It feels like the seller is being punished for sending out an item that eBay told us was safe to.
Glad you are getting better, I have similar pain and went on a no sugar no carb diet, almost instant relief. I also take magnesium for leg pain.
Good luck with the listing challenge Mel, love watching your vlogs you are even cheerful when someone has tried to scam you 👍
Thanks Dave!
Hi Mel, once a year you have to re log back into Aust Post. I had same issue. Keep up the good work!
Yes I had to reconnect my eBay. I had issues for two days after it though. It’s been a nightmare!
Do not ignore that pain it needs to be checked out it could be something more important.
Oh,I am so happy you are feeling better!
Wow that’s crazy and sux! Thank you for watching me, I appreciate it so much and glad you enjoy watching x
Who knows.
I wondered the same! I can’t believe they even try especially after leaving feedback! The nerve of them!
Thanks for sharing your story about your health!
Thank you for listening, hopefully you can watch my comeback now!
Make sure to add B12 to your diet... my dad had leg/sciatica pain and he had to go on B12 shots (because it was really bad) and now has B12 and D vitamins on his "must take" daily supplements.
Glad you are feeling better!
Great to hear that you're doing better! :D
Crazy how that sort of stuff works sometimes!
I would think that since the buyer left you positive feedback he/she was not out to scam you. Sometimes people honestly forget what the charge is for when it comes through. Or, perhaps the account is shared with others in the household and the disputed did not know the purchase had been made. I am confident that you will receive your payment.
I hope so. The user name starting with scam though worries me
I thought the same thing….
Not to sound silly but have you put down any mats to stand on in the shed? It could really help your feet and back.
I normally do have mats under the shipping and photo stations but I moved them when I had a water leak a couple weeks ago and I’ve forgotten to put them back! Thank you for spotting that!
Glad you're starting to feel better!!
Thank you x
Sounds like your Chiropractor was very honest. At least she didnt have you coming back for treatment's that wouldn't have worked. Always love your videos. Peace!
That is true. I really felt she listened and checked me thoroughly and she called me a couple day afterwards also to follow up.
Please do another video showing what sold including any magazines that sell.
Hey Mel! Love when a new video pops up!
Oh thank you. Life has been hectic the last few weeks so my upload schedule is a bit all over the place!
Really good video Mel. You deserve a pat on the back!
Thanking you 😊
SO Glad you are feeling better.
Thanks Sunshine ☀️
I sold a pair of shoes and once it delivered the buyer opened a return. In the return comments they tried saying the package arrived empty. Ridiculous
Glad your still going keep at it
Thank you. It’s not in me to quit :)
So glad you’re feeling better Mel. 😊🙏
Thank you ❤️
Simon Sinak is FANTASTIC!
GREAT POSITIVE THINKER AND GREAT MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER. 👍🏻 You both have that in common with each other 😘😀
Absolutely!
One more buyer for the block list.
It's easy to upload the tracking numbers with your eBay phone app. Just scan your label QR codes
That’s a good idea. I just did a copy paste but was time consuming matching each one up
Just recently we ordered a pair of surgical scissors, and when we received the package there were scalpels in it.
Hi, glad you are feeling better 😊! Great sales 👍! Have a great weekend 😀! Joe Bee 🐝 from 🇨🇦🍁🇨🇦 Canada!
Thanks Joe Bee. My name Melissa means honeybee 🐝
Wow! So glad eBay helped you on that one!
Fingers crossed for you, thank you for watching me!
@@backfromburnout you need to go on line they have a lot of different styles.
I’ve got a lot of ruined stuff I’m not sure if it’s the sellers or not . Very annoyed
LOL....
Oh wow! Glad you got the beg removed!
why do eBay let the scammers getting away with it

Well done Mel glad your feeling better 😊👍
Thanks Panzer
I got same thing happen to me ...bank favoured them even tho tracking showed recieved .
Damn! That sux!
Do you have a padded mat that you stand on when you're packing? Hard floors are very hard on the back and joints (I stand all day for work, it's a game changer). I love my chiro!!
I love your accent. New follower so glad to hear you are feeling better. If you continue to get your hip leg pain. Please look at your b12 levels.
That’s amazing Donna. I’ll be interested to see how I feel in a few months x
Those bloody scammers!
Hope your pain gets better, Mel!
I personally don't care for being pushed. Yikes! Chiropractors are quacks. 🤔
Chiropractor did wonders for my herniated disc with sciatica. Absolutely amazing. You just have to choose a good one or be referred by a friend.
Yes I did. I chatted to them and they told me they would file a report from their end so hopefully.
Great video Mel! Before you started saying about feeling better I thought to myself how wonderful and fresh you look. Vitamin D is definitely mood booster! Also I think you’ll win your case. I have worked in a bank and with investigation they’ll get pinged.
Thank you! I’m feeling that spark coming back so hopefully it starts to shine through soon x
i am so glad even though you called her a quack, that you listened to the very wise and kind chiro! so glad you're better!!! its funny, you say "why would i ever think this is gut related?' and i think " how can SO MANY not know this!!!!
Thanks
I don’t think they have purchased from me. They sound like they may be dropshippjng.
Might be early stage of cellulitis/ it's a circulation issue...
I hope it’s not that.
@@backfromburnout yeh happened to me and I stopped wearing belts and made sure I didn't tie up my track pants too tight..
Sorry to hear of you being scammed, hopefully you have their address and can send them a "Visitor" :)
Oh gosh lol. Not my style but I’m sure others would lol
Mel do you ship all your books in Padded envelopes??
Yes I do :)
Do you pay for tracking on all your postage?
@@GotMeGulped everything is sent tracked
It sounds to me like they just made a mistake and didn't realise that the payment was for their book purchase I can't understand why they would leave you good feedback if that was their goal ., they may also have memory issues. Did you try messaging them?.
I think combined with the username that contained scam I feel like it’s unlikely this was a mistake unfortunately
Rant over!
I just go to a word document, write my dispute and then I screenshot it that way I can upload a photo with all the details for the dispute.
I looked everywhere and had no option to upload anything so I did contact eBay to discuss!
@@backfromburnout maybe its different in your country but all I'm allowed to upload is one photo

@@backfromburnout Best of luck and you might not see the option to attach anything until it gets to that review stage.
I got buyers that make an offer on an item and then want my cell number and personal info. I report them ASAP.
That’s a definite scam!!
That was interesting thanks
My eBay got suspended can you tell me how can i open my eBay back
I was scared on Etsy, same thing, gave me a positive feedback and a month later tried to dispute she never received the order.
How ridiculous, what a nerve of them!
I get annoyed when I win an item, then find out the seller had not dispatched it; the seller did not reply to any of my messages until after I started up a dispute; the seller said that the item was sold on Gumtree, eBay kept asking me to message the seller to resolve the issue, after telling eBay several times that the seller would not reply to my messages, they finally gave me a refund, what a waste of time
I bet someone got there credit card stolen. So the thief gets the book doesn't have to pay and wont get in any trouble for it. Thats a shame..
By why leave the feedback if they know they didn’t order it. Very suss
Was the scam situation resolved?
Hi Mel! It sounds like you might have a sciatic nerve pain in your leg and hip. Find stretch videos specific to sciatic nerve pain and do them daily and that should relieve some of that pain. Also, try intermittent fasting. Love your videos! Have an awesome day! 😊
Thanks Donna I’ll check it out
I lost $1000 on a Scam.
Fair enough, that’s a big $$$ scam, sorry that happened to you
