Great video and pointers. Well said! Most cinema camera’s will do, as long as the shooter is skilled and the settings are right for the scene/shot. However, for the people who intend on buying a Komodo nowadays, the Komodo orders are being delivered within a month now. RED’s camera productions have sped up, and it’s about time. Even for the V-Raptor.

I dont care about red name. But red made a name for itself because of pristine cine cameras. I care for global shutter and gimbal ready form factor + af magic. I hate that we try to sell hybrid mirrorless cameras as cine cams. This transition is not going to happen... on the other side of the story is the full frame bullshit... and at the same time nobody uses full frame sensor in hollywood. People are screwed here big time again. Dont underestimate red compared to the competition...they are a serious contender for budget friendly hollywood filmmakers. That facts. Cable free phone app is just the icing on the cake. Komodo should dominate the market if reviewers were honest.
