It seems Bradley Cooper has found the role of his life. To be frank, I didn't recognize him. He changed his look, his voice, his speech, his physicality. That's more than just acting technique. It's art.

I've always loved Mahler's No. 2 and Bernstein has had the most undeniable passion for it. To see these married together in such an exquisite trailer is spellbinding. This is Cooper's Magnum Opus.
I remember Lenny's "Mahler era" when he was obsessed with him. It was great. When I was in college, our a capella choir sang Bernstein's Missa Brevis, which was one of my greatest experiences. I grew up with Leonard Bernstein and I really think Bradley Cooper has done a wonderful job with this film.
I’m so glad epic movies like these are still being made, Edit: I’ve just come out of the theatre after having seen the movie, and I can confirm that, it is, in fact… epic.
Man, should I say that I cried a little.. Bradley has beautifully portrayed the greatest ever composer- conductor, who introduced me to Mahler and somany great soul. Can't wait to catch it's screening.

I just saw the premiere and then Cooper showed up for a q&a. His performance represents the importance of serious and dedicated work. He embodies Bernstein in every gesture and every word. Fascinating film!
And Carey Mulligan? She was like the wax mould from which he was cast. Remarkable, very touching performance. Her face, when she sees him take the other man's hand, during the concert. And how he falls into her arms, after the Mahler.

Lenny was a great watch. Especially any video of his young people's concert originally broadcast on CBS on Saturday. It was instructional and uplifting. He was amazing and I thank Bernstein with helping me cultivate my love of classical music.
I have fond memories of my dad playing me different live versions of Mahler's 8th Symphony and I always marvelled particularly at Bernstein's performance with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. @@gh0stbn356 No im not talking about how the filming is meant to look like the movie is in 50s or 60s. Im saying that the movie looks like it was made in the 90's, because i love that vintage cameras
Being a musician & having loved Bernstein since a late teenager...being able to see these 2 "trailers" has me enchanted!! I'm Soo excited to see it! Oscars, please! 🍁🎶
That’s awesome! My cousin is a traditionally trained musician (vocalist and pianist) and is in the choir of this movie. I’m so excited for the celebration of music that this brings, even aside from how this stands as a movie. So glad it’s been made!
As an average person who enjoy cinema but I'm not an expert, I've seen trailers for several movies and they don't hold my attention. But this feels like something special. I think audiences like fresh air in movies (not sequels or remakes) , that's why Oppenheimer was successful, and I hope this one will be too.
Except that being a producer means nothing… Spielberg has sold his name to many garbage movies so they could give him a producer credit. Now, is that the case here… no, not as much as other times… just giving you a heads up that producer credits on movies are usually meaningless.
When I saw the teaser trailer to “MAESTRO”, I couldn’t wait to see this movie. After seeing the official trailer……. I really can’t wait to see this movie. The cinematography from the black/white and color footage looks amazing, and Bradley Cooper is unrecognizable as Leonard Bernstein. I’m not waiting for December. I’m watching this on the big screen.
When the movie trailer first started, I thought I was looking at Leonard Bernstein. Then I realized that it was Bradley Cooper as Leonard Bernstein. The trailer took my breath away. If Bradley doesn't win best actor for this role, then there is something seriously wrong with the Academy Award voters. It looks spectacular.
Mate, a star is born oscar worthy? Are we watching the same things? Silver linings play book is 100 times better than A lister is born. Sorry i mean an A lister is hired. No sorry i mean a music star is hired. So sorry i mean A star is born. 😂
In March of 1989, Klaus Tennstedt made a last-minute cancellation of the Maher Second with New York Philharmonic due to his ailing hip. The conductor who stepped in was none other than Lenny! I was there and immersed myself with the music in one of Lenny's last performances of Maher 2. I will never forget it.
"Maestro" is the best. I think Matthew Libatique will win an Oscar for Best Cinematography. He's amazing. Matthew Libatique is amazing. The best of Bradley Cooper.
When you thought Bradley Copper x Lady Gaga couldn't be topped.. now THIS is one couple for the ages! Carey Mulligan is one of the best actresses of her generation. Very high expectations for this film!
I wasn't expecting such a somber film that spent so much time exposing all of Leonard Berstein's imperfections as a husband and a father. I was left with a feeling of sadness for Lenny who couldn't be his true self and deep sorrow for his "wife" Felicia Montealegre who was restricted from living the life she wanted and deserved. Heartbreaking.
When an actor says everything by saying nothing - those are award-winning performances. I predict Oscar, SAG, and Globes for Carey, Bradly, and screenplay. WHOA. I need to watch a 2nd time to fully digest this poetic masterpiece. Thank you to Spielberg and Scorsese for helping to bring this movie to life.
Let's give Netflix an applause for supporting and buying out the rights to these great movies that no other media company would support. Netflix has been a great media company for showing movies and shows that are original and unique. I'm a happy subscriber and supporter of Netflix and hope they continue to flourish and thrive by showing more international and interesting content.
Can't wait to see this movie. Went to his anniversary conducting concert at Carnegie and as we provided the 9' Baldwin and I managed the NYC stores - my mom and I attended and went back stage afterwards and my mom told Lenny - "I was exhausted watching you conduct" (he did so much direction with his shoulders) - Lenny replied to my mom that No - you should feel energized! A treat of a night, especially when who should sit next to us for the performance was but Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger. As vivid as if it happened last night!

I thought Oppenheimer was awesome. I thought Killers of The Flower Moon was great. But then I saw Maestro and that my friends was a masterpiece for the ages! I was 100% impressed, wowed, and emotionally touched.
On a freezing cold gloomy Sunday afternoon in Bristol (UK) I walked into a small independent cinema (The Watershed) and watched a masterpiece unfold. If the scene in the Church doesn’t give you goosebumps and/or bring tears to your eyes, then you are a Robot. A must-see extraordinary film about unconditional LOVE, something few people can hope to emulate in this life. Bradley Cooper’s search for artistic perfection knows no bounds. I propose his next project should be a biopic about Bob Dylan. We already know Bradley can sing , the physical likeness is potentially right there (both have stop you in your tracks exquisite blue eyes) and after watching this LB film, I would have no doubt that Bradley Cooper could give us something EXTRAORDINARY 🙏✨🙏
Oppenheimer, Maestro, Killers of Flower Moon this has been a very good year for Cinema, returning to its roots and storytelling at its very best. Also progressive music inspired from everyday objects in Oppenheimer and now in Maestro elevates the gravity of the scene to another level. Would love to see this in theatres.
@@wiinterflowers4277 I don't think you have seen The Oppenheimer and if you did probably missed the historical and practical implications of the event for humanity. Oppenheimer is an extremely heavy film and if you know the chronology of events and how it's shaped the world we live in you will probably won't make that comment. Even if you don't relate that technical aspect and cinematic brilliance of Nolan and Co is hard to miss. But if you have prejudice against certain things it will cloud your judgement and same can be inferred from Lily Gladstone mention.
@@joeboonmusic4004 I always wanted films like Oppenheimer to do well at BO especially WB's sick move pairing it with Barbie to dent the film but when I came out of theaters I was pleasantly surprised that film is doing around 1Bn buisness. Given this being Nolan film i always expected it to deliver on technical aspects but damn it was HEAVY. It's just 3 Hr people talking and going back and forth and if you don't know the implications of Bohr, Heisenberg Feynman, Einstein, why they celebrated when Heisenberg went the wrong way you will enjoy it less. All the people mentioned here are legit rockstars of their field if you know about their contributions.
Not to mention the actor wasn't even Jewish in general! Nolan wanted to prop him up as this flawless human being because Chris Nolan is soooo in love with Cillian Murphy is beyond delusional and egotistical! They don't even touch on the effects of the bomb he made which I think is a big mistake! How anyone can say he's "good in the film," bitch you need to go watch some more movies because I nearly jumped ship at the three hour mark and laughed at the Gary Oldman cameo. Nolan cannot do anything good. He can't film sex scenes right, or even write women properly (when Emily Blunt gives a stronger performance than your main actor, your film is truly boring). Also where they hell are you grabbing this "prejudice," shit from?!? I don't think Nolan is as brilliant as your delusional stan butt or even any delusion morons claim; I didn't like Dunkirk, The Dark Knight Rises or the ending to Insomnia. And I've given crap to Scorese but at least he knows how to keep people's attentions unlike Nolan who's been high on his own ego and farts!
I'm not surprised at all that Cooper decided to include the LSO Cathedral Concert of the Mahler 2. When I first saw that videorecording, I saw a man fly on the wings of music.

Wow - It was great the hear Mahler 2 in the trailer. I've sung it many times with the Boston Symphony. At any performance, I can guarantee that a third of the chorus is crying at the end.
Incredible camera work, editing and costume design. They really made the movie feel like it was filmed in the early 90s
Early 90's? I thought it was meant to look like Technicolor from the 1950-60's
Which character is this movie based on?
That’s awesome! My cousin is a traditionally trained musician (vocalist and pianist) and is in the choir of this movie. I’m so excited for the celebration of music that this brings, even aside from how this stands as a movie. So glad it’s been made!
The first chords of the Mahler make it all. And yes. I’m a huge music dork and am not prepared for how moving this will be.
It's moving from start to finish. The Mahler section is where the floodwaters rise, it doesn't accompany the whole story.
As an average person who enjoy cinema but I'm not an expert, I've seen trailers for several movies and they don't hold my attention. But this feels like something special. I think audiences like fresh air in movies (not sequels or remakes) , that's why Oppenheimer was successful, and I hope this one will be too.
Bradley Cooper needs his freaking acting Oscar already. He should have had at least 1 by now.
Why?
When Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg are attached to a movie as the lead producers, you know it's going to be damn good
Except that being a producer means nothing… Spielberg has sold his name to many garbage movies so they could give him a producer credit. Now, is that the case here… no, not as much as other times… just giving you a heads up that producer credits on movies are usually meaningless.
I just saw it tonight. It IS that good!
Or a mess which this is.
First, he has to be nominated.
I can't imagine him NOT being nominated based on just what I saw. @@l.a.3479
The best never win the Oscar. I used to enjoy the Awards Night. Not any more.
I loved leonard Bernstein..I wanted to be a conductor because of him..I became a visual artist instead.Loved watching him..such passion!!
It's freaking me out how much Bradley looks like him. Time for him to win that Oscar he should have won for A Star is Born.
His loss that year was as egregious to me as Green Book's win was to others.
Mate, a star is born oscar worthy? Are we watching the same things?
Silver linings play book is 100 times better than A lister is born. Sorry i mean an A lister is hired. No sorry i mean a music star is hired. So sorry i mean A star is born. 😂
He has to be nominated, first.
I love the dialogue and how they filmed it. The Audio was amazing. It felt like they were genuinely from that era. Fantastic
Bradley Cooper to win it all this year. Best Actor, director .
Best film, best cinematographer and best make-up for the team.
Saw it at NYFF, and it's my favorite of the year so far! Mulligan and Cooper are fantastic!
Big yawn of a movie, super dramatic for no reason lol
Carey Mulligan is always a seal of quality. I’m definitely watching this.
Love her.❤
who would’ve thought Bradley Cooper would go from Wedding Crashers to THIS 😳🔥
And the friendzoned guy on Alias
Carey Mulligan is absolutely extraordinary
This gave me chills. The music is hauntingly beautiful.
that's just Mahler
Madly overly dramatic trailer, like yawn
"Maestro" is the best. I think Matthew Libatique will win an Oscar for Best Cinematography. He's amazing. Matthew Libatique is amazing. The best of Bradley Cooper.
The makeup and cinematography are amazing. And Carey deserves an Oscar for this one. Those were the saving graces here.
When you thought Bradley Copper x Lady Gaga couldn't be topped.. now THIS is one couple for the ages! Carey Mulligan is one of the best actresses of her generation. Very high expectations for this film!
Blech, Stefanie ruins anything she's in. At least I can enjoy this one.
Bradley Cooper is truly an amazing Director - he may be an even better Director than he is an actor and that’s saying a lot❤ can’t wait for this
When an actor says everything by saying nothing - those are award-winning performances. I predict Oscar, SAG, and Globes for Carey, Bradly, and screenplay. WHOA. I need to watch a 2nd time to fully digest this poetic masterpiece. Thank you to Spielberg and Scorsese for helping to bring this movie to life.
Now THAT is what I call a trailer 😮👏👏👏🤩
Let's give Netflix an applause for supporting and buying out the rights to these great movies that no other media company would support. Netflix has been a great media company for showing movies and shows that are original and unique. I'm a happy subscriber and supporter of Netflix and hope they continue to flourish and thrive by showing more international and interesting content.
One of the best trailers I've ever seen. Acting looks absolutely incredible
Carey Mulligan always delivers.
Delivers yawns with her mediocrity and coldness that is
Wow, just had the most amazing experience meeting Bradley Cooper via Radiant Reservation! 🌟 After watching his interview on Entertainment News where he mentioned connecting with fans through a private fan club, I couldn't believe I'd get the chance. Bradley was so genuine and down-to-earth, making the whole encounter unforgettable. His dedication to his fans truly shines through, and I'm still on cloud nine from the privilege of meeting him.
No way! That's incredible! 😱 I caught that Entertainment News interview too, and it's so heartwarming to hear about celebrities like Bradley Cooper going the extra mile for their fans. Radiant Reservation sounds like a dream come true! How did it all happen? I'm living vicariously through you right now!
Right?! I still can't believe it happened. So, I joined this private fan club /Group via Radiant Reservation and they organise meetings with public figure It's like winning the lottery! Meeting Bradley was surreal. He's even more charming in person.
I found RR. Radiant Reservation is a fantastic community, that help make any form of arrangements with celebrities or public figures and are incredible supportive
Meeting Bradley Cooper is like a bucket list item for so many people. Thanks for sharing your incredible experience! I’ll definitely look into joining the club .
Wow! That's ALL SO COOL! We Have To Remember: They are normal people like us...just with tons of Money & Talent! Sounds like a friend I want to have! 🌟
Carey mulligan and Bradley Cooper are going to shine through Oscar season. This trailer makes me tear up every time
Yawn
@@BaeB-q4nI agree!
I thought Oppenheimer was awesome. I thought Killers of The Flower Moon was great. But then I saw Maestro and that my friends was a masterpiece for the ages! I was 100% impressed, wowed, and emotionally touched.
This trailer brought me chills, this is greatness.
Too bad the actual film is not.
The movie sucked lol
On a freezing cold gloomy Sunday afternoon in Bristol (UK) I walked into a small independent cinema (The Watershed) and watched a masterpiece unfold. If the scene in the Church doesn’t give you goosebumps and/or bring tears to your eyes, then you are a Robot. A must-see extraordinary film about unconditional LOVE, something few people can
hope to emulate in this life.
You got it. Thank you.
Oppenheimer NOPE! I have yet to see Killers of the Flower Moon but I hope Lily Gladstone gets awards for her performance.
@@rudreshkalgutkar Agreed, Oppenheimer isn't the kind of film one can simply say 'nope' to... It was pretty special, in my opinion.
What a acting! This alone trailer show us how masterful act bradley cooper has done! Deserve a oscar!! But still leo, Cillian Murphy Oppenheimer, Joaquin for Napoleon, adam for Ferrari
This year is stacked with fullt class actor oscar! 🤯
What a fantastic year for actors in 2023 movies
@@dariussalepetru6770 yess Oscars gonna be stacked!
I think Carey Mulligan should win awards, her role in the story is outstanding
Best trailer I've seen in... well, a long while. It's not just Mahler's music and Bernstein's conducting, it's also Cooper's shots. That shit better be sensational.
The fact that it won't have a theatrical release in my country kinda depresses me, though.
Maestro didn't win anything at the Oscars you've got to be shittin me! How is that possible. What a phenomenal piece of work. 2nd directorial debut what a beautiful film Class above, Tragic but beautiful, Didn't win for any category if you haven't seen this film it's a masterful performance from Bradley cooper and Carey Mulligan. What is going on!
I love how they sit on the grass back to back laughing. Looks truly amazing the movie with such a great casts too 👍👍👍👍
i just watched the Movie , and it was an amazing experience, wonderful Movie, and the best performance I have seen in years
Bradley Cooper and Carey Mulligan deserve an Oscar for this Work of art
The best actor race at the Oscars is gonna be wild this year. Cooper, DiCaprio, Murphy, Phoenix and Wright just to name a few.
Cillian Murphy for the win.
I don’t know about Phoenix lol
Joaquin in Beau Is Afraid was definitely good but that wasn't an Oscar type role and does he have Oscar chances in Napoleon? From the trailer I don't think that movie has an Oscar chance either lol.
Adam Driver for Ferrari too
Barry Keoghan should be in the running, too, for "Saltburn". What he accomplishes in that is already "career best" work.
When Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg and Bradley Cooper make a movie, you really know you are in for a treat!
"Select theaters”? Come on! This deserves an international theatrical release!
Yesssss.
Wow. I'm sitting here actually feeling PROUD of Bradley Cooper. Like I'm his auntie or something. HAHA!
Netflix please release the soundtrack. I saw this 2 times at paris theater and its an unbelievable movie with a gorgeous soundtrack.
The soundtrack has been available digitally since last week and is coming to CD next week.
@@AngelofMusic04 Thanks I have been listening to it. wow
Hope to god Bradley Cooper wins Best Actor for this film. Also the cinematography is really good!
Me too
@@dariussalepetru6770 He works hard and I hope he gets nominated, along with Gael Garcia Bernal for Cassandro.
I first saw Cooper in Hangovers, not long after it came out. Now seeing him in such role, with such an epic feel to it is just unbelieveable.
I first remember seeing him in “Wedding Crashers”.
This epic film sent chills up my spine and broke my heart several times while simultaneously gluing it back together. Pure talent and chemistry between the leads and the beauty in the details reminds one of the intrigue of old Hollywood. I hope this movie cleans up at the Oscars. Bradley fully deserves every ounce of admiration for this incredible feat. BRAVO! ❤
