My fans and compressor work. Only when they want to. Took it to the shop they said new compressor and rewire. I think it’s just a wire issue like this vide. Imma check tomorrow. 🤞

I use mostly a paid service that has a monthly subscriptionl but check your local library ours here in St Louis have a online service that has tons and tons of wiring diagrams for cars if you have a library card or check out bbb industries online once you sign up for free it also has a ton of wiring diagrams available

What do you suspect first if the fans won’t turn off and drains the battery? Buddy of mine purchased a replacement after his old one crapped the bed but it would continue running after the car was shut off until the battery died. He ran a kill switch from the fan to the inside of his car as a temporary fix Could the replacement fan be faulty or would it be that module? He has a 13’ Jetta

Do they come on right away when you restart the car ? I would suspect possibly a sticking relay.

    Hey man,
You know what is the operational current required to run the fans?

I would have to look at wiring schematic but my guess possible temp sensor or maybe just a bad fan. You could run 12 volts to fan and see if it turns on and runs longer than a few seconds to rule that out
