Outstanding on so many fronts. Alan's constant attempts to belittle Simon - the body language, "mate", the camera angle when Alan is staring Simon down, making his slip up a much bigger issue than it needed to be, repeatedly letting him know his place in the show. Fantastic stuff.
Love the little touches that add so much: Alan mistiming his walk across to the digi-wall, with the awkward silent stare down the camera, and Tim's scattering of his toffee wrappers when he nervously pulls out his notes. Lovely stuff (and I can't remember if that's a Duncan Goodhew or a Shakin' Stevens quote.... )
That long walk to Simon is absolutely perfect
Tim Key is an absolute genius and him and Coogan are the 'best thing' since Morecambe and Wise.
and only a 'compleme cunm' would disagree...
Don't be an idiom, people...
Key is cool
I think Vic reeves and Bob mortimer.
The line ‘finally got that promotion ma’ lives in my head rent free
My biscuit bones.

*Herod* ....the writing behind Partridge is just incredible😂
He enjoyed, yes he killed lots of babies 💀💀
Herod was only interested in first borns
He did, we don't like him
Takes a lot of ganja
@@Jake-vh6jp the delivery of that tiny line from Simon was pure perfection

"Same money though I think?"
Alan does not give him any credit! Lol
There really isn’t enough time to explore all the possibilities with the character of Alan. I hope more new stuff is coming soon.
He said in an interview that he'll keep doing Partridge as long as he lives. Long live Coogan.
He is amazing. Coogan is meticulously strict and clever when in character
Alan's cūntishness turned up to 11 here
I am not sure about friendship goals, but they certainly are banter goals
They really are
"same money though"

Not your words, the words of Shakin' Stevens.
Just noticed at 01:40 Tim Key crosses out, almost certainly, “sliced bread” from his notes.
Haha
"I wish there was a bear with you"
Alan’s roll-neck sweater and denim-top combo. That’s the best thing.
I love how Alan is always leaning across Simon towards the camera into the foreground of the shot.
Compleme cunm !!😂😂
My all time favourite insult 😂
Mid Morning Matters is so good.....and Oasthouse
love this haha!
This is the best thing since sliced bread.
I never tire of watching these clips, I still crack up. Superb writing and delivery, loved the Scottish guy interaction.. Eh..
Steve and Tim are the best thing since sliced bread
"A bit like, Jamiriquoi"

Compleme cunm 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It's an idiom!!!
The Denton's got ideas above his station. Wants taking down a peg or two.
You can do other stuff.😂
"Japanese...."
It’s just an idiom
It must be difficult for a comedian, a smart person, to dumb it down so much for the lowest common denominator, day after day after day.
clearly the change is 2 poundsssss
