Have you wanted to use ClickUp as a Client Portal, but found there to be a bit too much friction?
I'd love to hear what you think of these in-ClickUp-but-not-really workarounds! 😅

Yep! I learned the hard way, client portals are pretty useless. They just don't go into it or care. Great video. ☺️

I've been hearing about graphic designers doing client portals in Notion. I've been exploring the option, but if I, who loves troubleshooting randomness, can get overwhelmed with new SAAS, I keep wondering why I should encourage the client to participate in the hassle. I'm liking the public view path, and it sounds like ClickUp forms don't need guest permissions, so that's two things I don't need to fuss over anymore.

Great point! The lack of fuss can make all the difference!

    Hi I have a query.
So, I provide service for certain legal registration work and TAT for the same is around 1 year. During this 1 year time the status of client's work changes 4-5 times.
    I have 100 such clients.
I have created a List in a Clickup Space where each task represents registration application of a client with its status which I update regularly in clickup.
Can there be a common client dashboard / portal, whose link I can share with all these clients and when a client puts an identifier (say his email if or registration no), he gets the result of his work's status.
This will help me avoiding N number of calls.
    Thanks a ton

Is it possible to view Notion within ClickUp?

Possibly through an embedded view :)

Hey, l just totally loved your TH-cam content, it's too useful for my business, l had a question...
I go through all systemology video by David jenyns, and he is saying that you should use project management platform like click up for assigning work, (Who does what by when), and system management platform like systemology for How the process is actually done(SOP), but in click up videos you said that their is no need of 2 different platform for assigning and for SOP, you can store both in Click up, so what should l do?, should l use 2 different platform one for assigning work to my team (Who does what by when), and second for SOP(How the process is actually done)
Or I can use One platform For Both...
    Expecting answer mam...

Hey Mangal! I actually had David on the channel a while back (you can find the replay on my channel!) and, while I love a lot of his approach, this is an area where we disagree.
In my view, there’s no need for separate software for most small to mid sized companies - if ever. ☺️

rather than making a view in the tasks list, is not it better to share a personalized dashboard with public link to client

      Great question!
Currently, publicly shared Dashboards are not supported.
So, if you were to create a Dashboard for a client, they'd have to create a ClickUp account and they would have to have access to all tasks inside of the Dashboard.
There's a video on this here:
      th-cam.com/video/sCIHEaoRT4w/w-d-xo.html
The alternative to sharing information with your client would be to utilize these public links that don't require them to sign in or sign up for ClickUp. I hope this helps!
