I can relate to this. Sometimes, it's so hard not to have someone, even our family, who understands our goals and supports us. But we have to stay strong and remember that it's our life, our goal, and our future that are at stake. As the saying goes, we only live this life once. We can't afford to tone down our dreams just to make other people around us comfortable.

dude, i am pretty surprised that as soon i am in sales, and some people that know me, grew jealous of me because of my high commission. at first, i was confused. soon, i begin to understand. it's funny how strangers that i barely met supported me in my sales, but not who i grew up with. lol . I think some people want to see you do good in life, but never better than them.

I moved as well! June 7th (the day of my birthday). I did it so I can be MORE PRODUCTIVE when it comes to editing videos, so I don't have to worry about "oh-oh, it's 5:30 afternoon, my parents may be arraving from work. I hate it, but I have to stop working :/". Now that I live in my apartment, I can edit whenever I want to, and that helps me to be MORE PRODUCTIVE and PRODUCE RESULTS FASTER. One of the best decisions I took in years...

Dear Dan, you are so right! 10 months ago I was diagnosed with cancer and I opted not to use any help from conventional medicine, especially chemotherapy. If I had shared this decision with ALL my social environment and family they would start pushing me and stressing me and saying I am totally mad. Thanks God I went my way, mad radical changes in my lifestyle, IN MY ENVIRONMENT, and today, I am healthier than EVER!!!

At the beginning of the month, I was in a desperate situation.
An Influencer and I had parted ways and the transition was rough. The logical thing was to get a J-O-B (which I was not opposed to).
But a hypothetical employer's schedule would conflict with Closers In Black. Plus, the time investment and money earned would never get me there. I decided to make my own way.
My Mom in particular was not happy. She supports entrepreneurship provided you take 0 risk. Basically, I was treated like dog shit.
There is no logical answer you can give people like that. In my heart, I knew that I had the skill & resourcefulness to make it happen - and I did!
I'm happy to say that I will accept my award on stage. :-)
The moral is, folks, don't take advice from people who don't have what you want.

I totally agree when you mention about having negative family member. My husband is a negative person. I, in fact, spend less time with him or shut him up whenever any negative stuffs are about to be released from his mouth. I went on to earn my millions by spending less time with him. If I were to follow his pace of life or follow what he tells me to do, I will not be what I am today. I am a woman and the main breadwinner. I earn money to bring up my 3 boys; to put aside for my parents and for my retirement and pay for all the household expenditure. My husband is not ambitious, he is the opposite of me. But that does not mean that I don't love him. I do, especially when he does not interfere with my job. To me, he is still a good man. He lets me do what I like although at times he complains (which I will ignore). His negativity is from his upbringing. I guess that is also the reason why he marries me, bec' with me around, he could feel positive energy. But I have to find ways to release his negativity that is transmitted to me. There was a stage in life that I almost cannot take it and was about to call for a divorce myself. I held back by doing meditation and spend more 'me' time with myself and spend less confrontation time with him. It helps to save the marriage.

So true! Negative people want to pull you down in their own misery and hate to see people succeed. I recently stopped hanging out with an old negative friend. Not negative towards me but on his entire life, everything is bad for him. It has been only a few weeks but I feel better and I'm making progress.

There's a quote I love "create 2 habits: help or do no harm." It's ok if family is not supportive or helps you successful, I can go and find ppl who support me but it's never ok or even awful when family is toxic and causes harm.

I think the „haters“ are those who are already wealthy or living rich already because they can’t connect to this - their parents already took the action to create a healthy environment - so of course it would be bad decision for them to change that.
This tip will really apply to those having the same „poor“ and limited background as Dan Lok had and I had.. but only those with a „real purpose“ and the „Will-Power“ to CHANGE will ultimately succeed their transformation.

Dan, it's true. I'm 20 y.o. In 18 y.o i went to job to next town and I was living in a job flat. Everything was better. Even your parents can kill your dreams and other things. It was creazy how happy I was. I was cooking myself, working in job, then working in gym and then working on me and studying. When you have those kind of parents, you have to move on asap. My biggest barrier (now very much overcome) used to be self confidence/reliance.
Although it can be very scary and painful, putting 110% in the belief that you WILL overcome the obstacles no matter how big or small, and being able to make the sacrifices you will have to make is one of the most important things in achieving your goals I’ve come to find.

Agreed 1000 percent, the reality is most people(including myself) miss these “Self-Evident Truths”.
Way I see my life forward, this video confirms the path I have been on and will continue.
For me, I don’t like to directly cut people off, rather I share paths I’m going and invite them to join the journey.
If they choose to join, cool, if they pass, then by their actions leave my life.
I keep doors open, while most won’t change their ways, some do.

This is true I mentioned to family members about the business that I wanted to start and all I heard was negativity. "They have that already" "What if it doesn't work" . I knew then I needed to distance myself from them I don't want to be around people that are going to make me doubt myself.
Im moving states tomorrow because plans came together perfectly last second. My family isn't the best role models and sometimes toxic. And something happened that made me realized I need a drastic change to my whole life. The first step is moving to my dream state where there are clients willing to spend the big bucks and a good place to start my business. The second step with this move is to change my habits as I move as well. New environment new me. My family may not understand but that's ok I believe in me. Luckily my fiance is 1000% on board with the changes and steps we are taking. I could sit here and say it's too soon I need more money but your videos have taught me to take life by the horns and just do it!

I went through a divorce Dan that went on for 5 years cost me about 400,000.00. I ran across your videos on TH-cam find them helpful. I have a small feedlot along with a cow heard, I also got a construction buisness I run when I’m not busy on the farm. I work with K State there ag mediation services, I also follow Dave Ramsey’s plan, it’s been tough with cattle prices making much headway on my long journey to get out of debt. It is very hard to budget when your on a farm money goes out about every day money doesn’t come in but just here and there. Watching your videos keeps me inspired when I sometimes just ready to give up. At 51 years old I don’t have so many years left to meet my task. Thankyou for all the videos.

Law of attraction: I generally think i will attract the right people and believe some way somehow i will get it done and get my succes. I try to think and regulate my thoughts in a such a way to attract the right people and recently started my own business so i hope that way to come in contact with more succesfull people and when the student is ready the teacher will appear. So i hope i will find my teacher soon.

I 100% agree. Some family members are the most toxic dangers. Yes love your family, but if you’ve got a negative Nancy for a mother or a Debbie downer for a dad, learn “conversation deterrent methods” keep it positive, flip questions back on them. Don’t go as often, and don’t stay as long :)

There is always a fight within our minds,one says ;Do it now, the other says; wait,what if.
In the end we get overwhelmed by fear and we surrender an idea however promising!

it was a bittersweet event for me when after spending two and half years in a company that I enjoyed and have thought will be in a long term with laid me off like I was nothing, the management has started to change and turned for the worst anyway before I left...but you know what? it have become an opportunity somehow because I am now in a better company with a better management..management that gives swifter results for toxicity and aiming for professional work balance...and yes dan maybe right.. the moment I started working in this new company one thing I have noticed is the environment, good environment can definitely give you that motivation to be productive

Since I'm an introvert and have very few people to surround myself with, and not very much often either, I think one thing I can change is to associate more with people who have the same goal as mine so I can get there much sooner.
