I think we need a list or spreadsheet with all, the UK foods that Chris has tried then we can get him all the stuff he has so-far missed. Theres so much to offer.
Excellent! I am using the "stacking" technique as well. But as learned currently in your video it can and will lead to strange behavior's in the system. Thank you. Learned again something new.
Sorry for the poor notes but I did swap gary with another one from a fully working amiga 500, and the problem stayed with that board, hence I assumed Gary was ok. THANKS VERY MUCH!!!!!
i am so glad you gave the chocolate orange a smack to separate the pieces.. i`m from the UK and sooooo many people just bite into them like an actual orange... you are a good man
The way things are going we are going to run out of spare parts in the near future, in the meantime keep doing the Lords work and fix as many Amiga's as you can. Take care.
The sultana is a "white" (pale green), oval seedless grape variety also called the sultanina, Thompson Seedless (United States), Lady de Coverly (England), and oval-fruited Kishmish (Iraq, Iran, Israel, Palestine, Pakistan, Afghanistan, India).[1] It is also known as İzmir üzümü (grape of İzmir) in Turkey since this variety has been extensively grown in the region around İzmir. It is assumed to originate from Asia Minor, which later became part of the Ottoman Empire.[1] In some countries, especially Commonwealth countries, the name sultana is used for the raisin made from it or larger seedless grapes; such sultana raisins are often called sultanas or sultanis.
Another great video Dr Chris 👍🏻 Learned something else today 😉 Cheers 🍻 Let me know if you want any more Custom Chips for your repairs 👍🏻 Lucky that customs didn’t open the Chocolate Oranges 😳🤣
There's a whole history about why American chocolate tastes the way it does, and from memory it dates back to Hershey providing chocolate for the military in WW2 and how its milk was preserved. Hershey gained popularity in the US and other chocolate makers altered their recipes to follow, but as a result to "the rest of the world" American chocolate has a slight taste of, er, vomit! Yummy!
I cannot find my pull of KS/Boot 1.3 to feed to WinUAE. Are there any online resources I could use? I am not a pirate, and can provide a timely view of a KS disk.
Speaking of fake chemicals and chocolate. Hershey chocolate today is only 10% chocolate. 90% filler. What used to be great now tastes like waxy soap. All in the name of profits.
Thanks Chris for salvage old Amigas for people to enjoy them after 30 years..

That chip tester is awesome.
I loved my A600 and wish my brother hadn't misplaced it when he moved house several years ago.

Enjoy watching your videos Chris... you are legendary
Great work Chris! By the way nice tip how to remove agnus from socket!
Now I am on the hunt for a Toffee Crunch Chocolate Orange, not seen them yet.
Sultanas are a type of dried grape - My bad on the poor Agnus socket replacement - but all else is how I received it.
Okay, why could I smell orange as you opened the chocolate orange!!!???? Being from the UK we do have a fantastic selection of food.

Thanks for the education!
I have enjoyed those chocolate oranges. When I’ve been a good boy I usually find one in my Christmas stocking.
Isn't Sultanas a rock group led by Carlos Sultanas? Lol
Not currantly
Piggybacking chips worked for me.
I Treasure All of Your Videos👍🏻🤩✌🏻
Looks like your BackBit Chip Tester is a much improved version. Mine, you have to move wires around to select voltage-neg-pos legs per chip type.

That resistor bodge, going to the CIA A is a standard thing on the rev 6A (possibly on PAL boards only?). My PAL Rev 6A has it
Not sure dont see this rev often in pal. So possibly?
I have rev 6a pal too and i have that resistor in mine board too!
You will live. Those dates on foods are "Sell by" dates, not expiration dates. They will be fine for weeks or months after with that kind of thing.
It's like bin diving for food, ain't nobody got time for expiry dates.
The Slapaslip 3 will get you.
Hahahah good one!
