    Enjoy your channel, one comment on the throttle body torque, a year or so ago the company I work for had an issue with GM engines having a throttle learn error codes, we did some testing and found out the throttle body was over torqued and it caused the throttle plate to bind a little. We changed the torque to 6 inch pounds and this solved the issue.

    Enjoy your channel Jake. I watched most of your videos the last couple of weeks. Can’t get enough of these LS swap videos! I desire to take on a ‘68 Camaro project, and yours is very inspiring! Also cool idea to show the kiddos the process of how ‘ol dad builds the cars! Great work!

    Awesome video man I plan on upgrading to this on my build in the future as the 5.3 I picked up had been carb swapped.

    I was thinking of using either using fitech or Holley system with a fast intake for the most performance

    I don't put oil on silicone gaskets. Protroleum will eat at the silicone gasket. Use Gibbs, silicone, or a non petroleum based lube.

    What did you use for the four ports on the bottom of the intake? I know one is for the vacuum brake booster but don’t know what to do about the other three thanks!

    • @JakesShop
      @JakesShop  ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe I plugged off the other ports there for different vacuum needs depending on what you’re doing with your vehicle

    just installed mine on gen 3 6.0 stock intake and valve covers, so do connect the vacuum line from the passenger valve cover to the tb vacuum ?

    What injector did it come with I didn’t get mine

    • @JakesShop
      @JakesShop  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Weird. They should be there if you bought the whole kit. They look like Bosh style units branded for fitech. Not sure what they are. Either 55 or 62lb injectors.

    Use silicone grease on Orings. Not sealant. I like your car. Gonna be nice.

    Hello where did u get that elbow for booster hose? Part number?

    • @JakesShop
      @JakesShop  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s a power brake Vaccume booster check valve. It came with my booster. But there was also one on my intake. If you google it or ask your local parts house for one it’s pretty standard. Acdelco is the most common brand.

    how did you install the fuel pressure regulator Please

    • @JakesShop
      @JakesShop  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't yet. I'm Still playing with too many other projects. There are a bunch of things to consider with plumbing this up properly. And I'll do a separate video on just this concept as the fuel feed system and pressure at the rails is the most important concept to getting the fuel injection system to operate properly. As to your question the simple answer is I like to put them on the return side of the fuel rail system. Aermotive 13-109 is what i typically use. I always add the pressure gauge to the regulator at the front as well so i can read it while I'm adjusting it and i know what it is right at the rails. This keep the fuel pressure exactly where I need it.

    What style injector connector does this kit use?

    • @JakesShop

      I believe it’s the ev-6. But you’ll want to verify with fitec
