Gerry and The Pacemakers are very underrated and overlooked. Bear this in mind: First 3 singles - Number Ones. "Ferry 'cross the Mersey" & "Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying"- Classic pop songs. This song here and "I'm The One" (UK #2) great Brit Pop songs. Plus The Beatles and The Pacemakers played together one night as The Beatmakers. Maybe Gerry and his band need looked at again?
@thevidiotkid Actually there is more now. They initially only released four tracks on an EP. Recently however EMI in the UK have released a four CD pack which includes more tracks from the concert. These include How Do You Do It , I Like It, Don't Let the Sun, Slow Down, Shot of Rythem & Blues, plus the four from the EP. Plus they are in sterio
That was awesome! Lovely song...

One of Gerry's rare forays into minor key songwriting, that was more typical of the Zombies than the Pacemakers during this period.
Could u post up Gerry and the Pacemaker's live recording of my babe please?
Was that photo taken at St Georges hall on Lime Street?
Like some of his songs but boy he has a husky voice
