The people who didn't like Goku smashing through hits dimension forget that this precedent was set in Z. There are several dimensions in DBZ and people have busted through them intentionally before. Most notably super Buu and Gotenks screaming a hole from the room of spirit and time and our world
It's not only that, Goku has been established as a genious from day 1 in OG DB when he learned the Kamehameha just by watching Master Roshi. I wouldn't be surprised he can literally access those pocket dimensions without Hit if he wants to, now that he's seen it. In the DBS manga he uses the HAKAI technique on Zamasu... Just because he saw Beerus use it once
@@bermiguel The hakai thing might be different because goku already knows how to become a god and use god ki. while its not impossible that goku could learn to enter that pocket dimension, I think he would first need to learn time skipping. because you have to build up time with time skipping to spend that time in the pocket dimension

None of that even matters anyways, because it's BEYOND OBVIOUS at this point that Goku's been beyond universal since the beginning of Super, smashing through dimensions is no problem at all for him.
Basically Hit takes the time he use in his time skips and when he uses his new ability creates a small pocket dimension where he can move on his own. The reason Goku can't touch him is because he's not in the same dimension as him when he uses his new ability. At least I think that's how it goes🤔

The clap is a technique that is actually real. What its meant to do is distract your opponent for a quick second and in fights that split second where your opponent is distracted is enough time to Catch them off guard for another attack
The perfect example is in assassination classroom which Nagisa used to stun her enemy

Just because he is an idiot in day to day life & doesn't have general knowledge of our world people just forgot or didn't know he is been training under the best martial artists in the world since he was just a kid.

That technique is similar to Obito‘s Kamui, he just uses it with the timeskip. That’s how I interpret it. As you said Goku’s battle iq is one of the best. Anyway this fight was fire🔥. Another great reaction bro🤝

I always liked how silent Gohan is about giving Goku his blessing to fight Hit. He has lost his father twice; the first ended his innocence. The second ended his childhood. So it makes sense if he’s reluctant to seeing his father die a third time. Being an adult, Gohan decides to accept it.
I get stoked that Aimin can enjoy even these fillerish episodes. So many streamers fake interest in the shows just to get views. But seeing Aimins journey to being a true fan like all of us has been awesome. Love the content brother, keep em coming. And we're getting closer and closer to some truly amazing moments of the series and I can't wait to watch them with you dude.
The reason for Goku being so smart In a battle is most likely his love for battle and drive from it. Being a Saiyan amplifies it even more. It's wierd thinking even Vegeta said he's smart while battling

Headcanon time: The way I see it from a pseudo scientific stand point, Hit slips in a 4th dimension. He's still there but as a three dimensional being you can't interact with him. Goku used power to break the link between the 2 dimensions.

To answer a few of your questions since this episode confused the crap outta me the first time I watched it, you can see Goku fire that energy blast in the last episode right after he got hit by Hits attack, Goku saying he figured out Hits technique was more of a bluff to antagonize Hit into coming after him, when Goku clapped it was his way of testing to see if it was the real Hit or a copy based on if he flinched, Hits intangibility technique is him shifting his physical body into his pocket dimension leaving behind a phantom image which is why he’s still able to talk unlike the afterimage and create multiple copies all with their own energy signature, Hits weird distortion punch is explained more in the tournament of power but essentially it’s an intangible shockwave that only impacts physical bodies hence why it went through the tree and using it in tandem with his pocket dimension allows him to punch in any direction but still send it at his opponent hope this cleared some stuff up
Goku may be dumb in A LOT of things, but you can't forget that he's a martial arts genius.

This should’ve been the battle at the Tournament Of Destroyers which could’ve ended in a draw instead of Monaka winning the tournament after Hit throws in the towel.
Goku/Vegeta would have the most wins with both warriors having enough wins to win the entire tournament to the dismay of Champa who threatens to destroy the entire tournament arena and even his own fighters.

Vados' explanation can be simplified to: Hit is moving through time without moving through space.
That being said, this is impossible, as time is just a function of space- they are the same thing (hence why scientists refer to both as a single phenomena 'spacetime'). Even if it were possible, if Hit were actually moving through a parallel spacetime without interacting with normal matter, then you wouldn't be able to see him as no photons would be reflected from his flesh/clothes/whatever.
