In volume IV, Kurt will take you on a fun and exciting trip through the deep world of chords and scales on the guitar with interesting and useful approaches to many aspects of harmonic thought including functional harmony, modal harmony, voice leading, substitutions, chord scale theory, etudes, passing chords, voicings, and much more.
The class is based around a beautiful handwritten book that Kurt wrote specifically for this class, and it contains a wealth of information presented in a musical and participatory way filled with musical examples, etudes, and many different jams designed to immerse the student into every mode of the Major scale, Melodic minor, Harmonic minor, and Harmonic major, with fascinating surprises along the way. In addition to the many written examples on the music staff is a booklet containing chord graphs of every voicing contained in the book so that you can learn exactly the voicings Kurt plays on the guitar, and play along with him, and jam out with him.
Plus! Added bonus written material: discussions of the types and uses of dominant chords, chord symbology, symmetrical scales, and tips for finding voicings
The format is a 3 hour video presentation by Kurt Rosenwinkel (MP4) and other related materials such as jams (WAV/MP3), charts (PDF) and a handwritten method book (PDF).
After the purchase you will receive a PDF guide with hyperlinks to download the video and all related materials.
+ You will also receive a PDF with hyperlinks to download the srt files with subtitles of your choice.

These jams are such a hard vibe. Gives me inspiration to do my own and not just study mechanically.
The movie Palmer is a great compliment to this video. Love the barn pigeon.
How is it possible that more ppl haven't seen this video..
.
Probably because they’re watching all the shredders trying to outdo each other🤮
your videos are the best lesson videos of all time kurt!! Thank you!!!
So good
after studing counterpoint and orchestration I decided today to check out this course I bought as kurt made it...coincideitially here we have an estract of the course released few hours ago 😂
Wow! What’s not to love here. I’m 80 now and earned all my bread as a guitar player. I guess it is possible to fool some of the people all of the time, but Kurt is the real thing. He’s not trying to fool anyone. He is just making music…… pure genius and I thank him. This video is an education in beauty.

Kurt has done so much deep and personal work on music and it really shows here. A truly remarkable explorer whose discoveries resonate through generations.
Kurt like all the great jazz geniuses always plays like hes channeling vibrational energy from distant planets
Such an incredible improviser, it sounds otherworldly
Thanks so much for this video. Packed with awesome ideas and super useful info, plus that guitar is SICK.
Good stuff, the jam track you made for the 2nd mode was killer, so was the effect on your solo. What was it?
Great lesson and superb improvisation...love that James Bond chord!
Magical. But the worst possible place to end a video... at the start of a Kurt solo!

Thanks Kurt!
Awesome content! Priceless information.
I love you so much!
Beautiful hang, as expected. ❤
Good video man! I've been playing around with my Harmonic Minor scales and touching on Melodic Minor in my journeys - this gives me another perspective to hear things from.
How would I learn more about your gear setup and sound? I realize you're using a DAW etc but anything you could share is helpful. (guitar, pickup, daw & any settings) love the echo & reverb!
Thank you, I'm subscribed!
Damn... That Emi9/11 relationship to the Bb Lyd. Aug. is way, way cool. Hadn't really put that together before. Thanks, Kurt :)

Hubiese estado bueno saber cómo fue que los “case brakers” dedujeron que Poste era el asesino..
Básicamente saber eso era lo que más me interesaba de un video sobre este caso.
It is wonderful to see great musicians turning into great songwriters. Love it.
Dude's vibe is like the Steve Brule of jazz guitar.
Cool stuff 😎🤓
