Do you have any idea of what pedal effects he is using in this video? I'm curious about the octaver that he uses, I wonder if it's the POG, because I don't know such an effect that would just turn the last two strings (E-A) down an octave, without turning down to an octave the remaining strings.

Dang. The switch and tonal contrast @3:09 from dividing one bar into 4 subdivisions and then dividing that same length of time into 5 subdivisions is so seamless and effortless. For me, it has the same effect musically as a visual collage - cutting and pasting - which compliments the video so beautifully.
