I am astounded by this knife. I love knives like this that look like a fixed blade at first glance. All the good ones are customs that I can’t afford. I’m so bummed I missed that run. Hopefully he will decide to make more productions.

Man I'd love that custom, gorgeous, the production is awesome too, but the custom is immaculate.

What was the other French front flipper you used for a comparison in the Shamwari video? Thanks for your content, your collection is amazing. Enjoyed the video with Metal Compkex.

I think it was the Remi Lavialle new Hardy. Thanks for your kind comment, yeah it was a fun vid and great to do it with MC!

Yeah, it’s disappointing the sharpened portion of the blade doesn’t quite clear the plunge. And whilst I do like the clip design I don’t like how the pocket clip isn’t rigid & can be pulled laterally. I grab on it when I deploy the blade and I already have a scuff on the CF after 1 day.
Full flat grind is excellent and I love the thickness, fills out my hand very well. Bronzed hardware is also a nice touch.

Would you recommend this knife, despite the shortfalls you mentioned?

    • @OilBaron

@@herosticks For a collector, yes as I think it’s quite a unique piece. I have some doubts as an edc; it’s quite substantial. I’m only 1 day into it though.

I hope they do another run of the Lespect collab but using Reate. I heard the first run was not well received.

@@7redi I got it when they first popped. I sanded put the edges of the carbon fiber and it was a huge improvement. Now I'm going to have the liner and clip ceracoated
