  • In this video I take you along on the final test flights on the Carl Goldberg Extra 300 model after changes were made following the remaiden flight video posted on November 9th, 2023 here in the channel. The changes made were programming Elevator-Aileron Camber or Spoilerons mixing and I made Side Force Generators to assist in hopefully smoothing everything out or at least helping with getting more prop thrust control over the Ailerons. So I do the first flight without the SFG and then on the 2nd flight the Side Force Generators were added and tested. The third flight was just for fun! So f you are building this model or have this model in your hanger consider trying these small changes for yourself and tell me how you like it. Sit back relax and enjoy the video and please consider SUBSCRIBING to the channel and click that LIKE button, also comment what you liked or did not like about the video or content.

    You did a great job on this one Michael....kinda nice to see some classic aerobatics done rather than 3D.....awesome work on the aircraft as always 👍👍

    I know whats hapoening here. Even if you shift the weight back, even if you make it tail heavy you wont get it solid like you want. Its not all elevator to blame its too much weight for the wing loading. Especially with the gasser on the front. But honestly who cares man that plane is a great sport flyer just pull it through scale aerobatics and enjoy it. The plane rocks for its time. I enjoy watching you fly it bevause i grew up with all those planes. Great videos

    How do you like the 17/6 as compared to the 16/8 prop? Notice much of a difference?

    • @BayonasRCWorld
      @BayonasRCWorld  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes I get more hang time hehehe on the hover, more thrust and less speed as to the 16x8 prop where I get high RPM but not much torque compared to the 17x6-W. Overall I do notice the difference and I prefer the 17x6-W over the 16x8 for sure.

      @@BayonasRCWorldare you gonna try the 17/6 on your P-40 as well, or stick with the 15/7 three-blade prop?

      @@FranksModelAviationWorkshop I rather stick with the 15x7 3 bladed prop since that combo is just right in my book

    Great plane, but definitely not a 3d machine. It looks great. Did you cover it?

    • @BayonasRCWorld
      @BayonasRCWorld  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah it is a awesome aerobatic performer you know 90's style big maneuvers. Definitely not today's style of 3D flight. We will save that for Extreme Flight and the like. It was fun just trying hehehehehe. No harm now back to the original way it was meant to fly.

      Right on! Yeah for sure a really great flying plane. Even without the mixing or SFG. Just as per plans awesome aerobatic performer. I have built and own 4 Ultimate Bipe 10-300 and just love Carl Goldberg Models even after all these years.
