    So, if i put the cell activator in the paint & not the white and swipe with white, I'll get great cells?
    I gotta rewind to see if there was medium in the paints or white paint.

    • @LeftBrainedArtist
      @LeftBrainedArtist  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I do not consider silicone a cell activator. The only time I really talk about cell activators are when we are talking about Sheleeart Blooms or Swipes. Otherwise I only call this an additive (silicone, hair serum, cocount oil, etc). That matter because you are going to be doing different things with cell activators and silicone oil.
      For silicone oil, I normally put the oil in the base colors and NOT the swipe color. You can do it the opposite way but I don't think it turns out as well.

    • @LeftBrainedArtist

      I make new paint pretty much every video so I don't store lots of paints. I have been known to use old take-out containers for some of my base coats I make a lot of. I do have a few condiment squeeze bottles from Lolivefe that I use too. But they are a little more expensive.
      Small amounts of paints can be washed and put down the drain (teaspoon or less ish). Mostly I let it dry and peel it off the container and use it for jewelry or throw it away.

    Here's another question...how can I tell if house paint is too old? I found a gal of Colorplace antique white semi-gloss never opened in storage bedroom. Don't know how long ago I bought it. WHAT A FIND!!🤯 Before that I searched Walmart all out of stock. I called their corporate office to ask when?? They didn't know anything!! Guy I finally got was in India.😠 My son didn't know how to tell if old and he owns a Drywall & Painting Business! At least he got me floetrol but never used it himself. I didn't shake the paint. I opened and stirred long and gently.🤦‍♀️ Seems ok but had funny smell.🤷‍♀️Inside the lid was dry and kinda lumpy. I think it's like 8yrs old!! Didn't use it cause i got a slumlord! There's also a mystery gallon unopened too. Might be kilz?? Been asking folks if they have any old paint so I'll be experimenting with that. Got a lot of craft paint too. We'll see what happens. Doin it on the cheap for now but knowing me...I'll find something amazing for sure!!!😊😊😊

      Shake it really good. Or take it walmart and just ask the paint counter to shake it. if it all integrates back together with no huge lumps it is still good.

      Yeah, that is where that name came from. The owners daughter had a sweatshirt that said Love Life but was split up to say LoLi and then under nead that vefe which is where she got the name.
