Guava which are yellowish are sweet custard apple softer without black spots are perfectly ripe plum with darker shade of red are sweet - rest can be sour chiku pick softer ones with sweet fragrance and no visibly green skin Grapes with bigger grain, no brownness (either in green, black or red), no visibly whiteness for fungi (rub the grain before deciding as it can be pesticides also) and no slimmy formation outside the grain, these are sweeter, though smaller ones can be sweet but prediction often goes wrong with smaller grain. Per with softer skin are sweet otherwise they are generally bland Lichi with darker shade of red are sweet, overripe ones will start to lose water within the fruit, less ripe will be yellowish and one must be watchful of the top of seed area before eating and check for worm movement everytime.
Mango also has a trick.. look the stem connecting area along with overall colour of the fruit.. if that area is turning into bigger black spot than normal, the seed has started to overripe.. Also check for fragrance, if it looks ripe but no fragrance then it will be chemically ripen and not naturally ripen.
