Hi Scott, thanks for the video. I owne the 28mm amber flares since 1 year and I never saw the strange star flare that you've got...I planned for a couple of month to buy the 65mm amber flares as well. Your video give me reason for this next step. Next big contract I will buy it, can't wait!

I'm getting tired of TH-cam not suggesting your videos Scott...didn't even know you did this video. I'm really interested in these lenses so thanks for the review.

You can always click the alert bell for all videos ;) j/k - I appreciate your interest. They are pretty fun and beautiful lenses, at least the 40 and 65mm are in my opinion. It was interested that another viewer mentioned that their 28mm did not experience the start flares that I did.

Scott, have you had the chance to compare the vazen 65mm to the atlas anamorphic 65mm on the komodo? I will be curious to see the difference. Merry christmas!

Nice review - have the set and I actually love the 28 especially for establishing shots. The 65 is awesome. Given the next option up are the Atlas Orion’s and Mercury’s which I have used the Orion’s on a few jobs I feel the Vazens really punch out of their weight class…

Pretty great! Yeah 65 has been one of my fav’s and even has decent coverage on raptor. I see the 28 as like one of those wide angle Tokina zooms. In your bag to save you in a pinch. Handy if you have to do a 1 hand gimbal for some reason.
