Skank is not about punching your fellow dancers. It is a communal dance. Think Native American dances. How offensive. You celebrate the courage of your fellow skankers. The guys around the perimeter are there to keep you safe. You don't punch them. That's when I bowed out. The metal heads started showing up and throwing helicopter fists.
