Hi Jen, where can I find/purchase Jelly Roll patterns to use with my Go! Big? I reached out to Accuquilt who suggested a book on Jelly Rolls however, it's sold out. Any suggestions for videos? Thank you!
Hi Lucy! That's a great question. Here is the Jelly Roll book that I have. There are a ton to choose, though, so you may prefer a different one depending on the kind of quilt you're looking for: amzn.to/43oPbfK
Carolyn, don't tell me about new machines! Haha! I still love my M7, and it's only a year and a half old. I can't even begin thinking about a new one yet :) Are you thinking about getting it?
@@FaithandFabricI don’t really have room, and I’m not interested in embroidery. I Love my M7, my husband gave her to me a year ago and I hope to sew with her forever.
@@FaithandFabricit’s a combo M7 and Embroidery. It has 1230 built in embroidery designs and I just think they should have left the M7 alone. There are a lot of quilters who are very interested. For me, I like to keep it simple.
I know this was a demo to show how the cutter worked but I really like the pattern of the table runner, was the top all half square triangles? I sure would love the pattern for that, it is so pretty.
Thanks, Wanda! Of course - here is a link to the post that talks more about the actual pattern on the front. It's from PBJ, and is indeed half and quarter square triangles: faithandfabricdesign.com/2020/12/2021-monthly-color-challenge.html
My girlfriend found the machines at a quilt show and she was immediately convinced it was the solution to all her cutting problems To be honest I didn't get it until i spent time looking at their videos and patterns I bought the hand crank one, so easy. Now I must have over 25 dies. Need to get cranking and quilting@
Hi Debbie! The mats aren't as self healing as a cutting mat would be, but there are a few things you can do. The mats are intended to be used on both sides, so to increase the life of your mats, rotate and flip the fabric cutting mat and don't cut in the same place each time. Store it flat (not curled), and out of the direct sun. You can also wash it with light detergent and warm water when it gets dirty. Hope this helps!
Collette, that's a good point. It is electricity driven, as opposed to the ones with the hand crank. For some, especially those with arthritis, this electric solution works well. Here's to no rolling blackouts, as the sewing machine wouldn't work, either :)
Hi there! No, I haven’t had any come up short. I’m sure you’ve already checked these things, but my go-to checklist (when piecing isn’t as precise as I’d like) is: new needle, accurate scant 1/4” stitch, sharp rotary cutter, accurate ruler, pressing before cutting, etc. Good luck!
@@FaithandFabric I realized the problem when I started to piece my flying geese. The blocks were supposed to be 4 1/2” square but they were only that size on one side & shorter on the other side. All of my blocks came out that way. They were all from the same fabric. I wished I had tried cutting a different fabric to test.
Finally somenone who actually shows how it really works. I want this toy!!!! Thanks for the video
Sandra, yeah! I'm so glad you found it helpful!!
Please continue with new tutorials, very clear and instructional. Thanks
Aww, Diana, THANK YOU!! That means so much! I have a new Block of the (mostly) Month starting soon that I can't wait to share!
Thank you so much! I need some 2.5 strips and totally forgot I own this machine Thank you
I'm so glad!! I love using the Accuquilt to cut strips; it makes it so much faster and - well - accurate :)

Do you have a video how to fold the fabric to cut 2.5” x 42” strips..
I don't, but can make one! Thank you for the suggestion.
Great demo Jen! I have been very tempted for one of these!
Anne, I love my Go Big! I don't use it on every quilt, but it makes those I *do* use it on go so much quicker...
Buy the hand crank. Cheaper and easier.
hI i JUST BOUGHT MYSELF 1..NOW LEARN HOW TO USE IT..THANKS UR SHARE UR TEACHINGS TY
Sylvia, wishing you the best with your Accuquilt! It's a great tool to have on hand for quilting. Happy sewing!
Thank you for this video, I just bought the Go Big Accuquilt. Are you still enjoying the Accuquilt and your M7. Have you seen the M17?

Cathy, yeah! Let me know how it goes for you. Having the Go Big has been a game changer for me!
Thanks Faith
You're welcome! ~ Jen

@@suzannakoizumi8605 Haha! Yes! I have more dies than I do time :)
Such a great example
CrisAlfa, thanks! I'm so glad. I love my Accuquilt! It honestly makes cutting sooo much easier :)
I easily damage my cutting mat, can you tell me how to save my cutting mat from cutting with the die blades?

Mats don't last forever. I bought a few extras.
Did you use the same die for your binding?
Yep! I sure did :) I've found it most helpful in making scrappy bindings, which are some of my favorite kind to make.
I cut 8 layer once, wonder if that’s ok
Hi Cheryl - wow, eight layers?!? Impressive! I think they say it's meant to cut six, so that's pretty amazing that yours did all eight!
How do the angles work? Can you cut angles on this die? I see the 30, 45 and 60 degree lines, but I don't know how to use them.
Catherine, that's a great question! Let me see if I can create a short tutorial on how to use the angles...
Con with the Go Big is runs off electricity. If you lose power you won’t be able to use it

Not going to do much sewing if you lose power as your sewing machine won’t work either! Hopefully you live in an area with reliable power supply!
Have you noticed any of the squares coming up short on one end? Happened to me.
