I just purchased the electric Go because of this wonderful video. I have never ever made a quilt or done any quilting because I can't cut straight for the life of me and the thought of trying to cut out all the pieces needed to make a quilt seemed a nightmare. I am thrilled to begin using my new Go cutter! Now to pick out fabric...that's a whole nother problem lol.
Excellent presentation, straightforward and easy to understand. Thank you! Have you done other tutorials for using some of the dies. Many of the videos are distracting and not as informative.
I just found you. I enjoyed watching this so much. You clarified several things for me. I have used my cutter very little because I just wasn’t confident enough in how to begin.
Thank you for your overview. I'm between beginning and intermediate, I'm a ways from using the complicated cut outs, but I sure can foresee using the triangle and squares--especially the triangles immediately!
How many background pieces and how many star pieces are needed to cut each part of each star? One main and four background pieces for the 4 1/2" block? And one background and two main fabric pieces for the quarter square triangles? Sorry if I missed it but this is basic stuff to be included.
Finished means, after sewing. So when you sew with your quarter inch seems on each side, it takes a half inch from the width, so once it's sewn it'll be 2 inches instead of the 2.5
I just purchased the electric model for my first and want to learn how to use it properly question though how do you know what cube to buy and what’s in them. I got box 8 with my machine
I love my go cutter.. have some 27 dies.. my question is about the 55011 which is hexagons. There’re are 3 sizes 2-3-5. Here is my problem . I want to do Paper piecing . Question can I cut card stock? If so then I need to cut my fabric 3/8 inch bigger . Per each size. English paper piecing Is having a pattern piece 3/8 smaller to wrap fabric around. Then you sew your fabric pieces right sides together. Look up English paper piecing ,or Lucy Boston paper piecing . Thank you Bobbie Pesson Lumberton Texas
I been wanting one of these complete quilt cutting kits for months now. But, I'm a disabled person. And even though they reasonably priced for making cutting things easier. I can't afford it. I mean 500 or so is a fair price for the complete cut kit. I can't afford it. I love making many quilts and I do so to supplement my income.
My machine the go big will not turn on.. it shut off in the middle of a cut.. I have unplugged all re plugged in a different outlet even tho the blue light comes on in the box on the electric cord… (blinks) but the green button in the machine will not turn it on… please help!!!

What is the difference between the size and finished size. Like the 2 1/2" strip cutter says finished size 2 inches.
two quarter inch seams.

Have you tried reaching out to accuquilt? I ordered all my items from them directly. I noticed you can contact them through email, chat, or phone.
Half the fun of making quilts is cutting the fabrics.
Excellent video. But please pronounce "selvedge" correctly. It’s SELLvedge, not SALvedge.
can't hear you
