The best part of an Iron Maiden show is the fact that you will see up to four generations of a family at a show. There is no other band in the world that has that kind of following and acceptance. I do concert sound for a living, so yes, I have seen a lot of shows.
Kid,that face of hapiness on the drummer is called:find what you love, make it your profession and you will never have to work in your life.take that advice
I'm never surprised at how many youngsters get into Maiden any more - went to see them in Toronto last year and was amazed at how many teenagers were there.

I was 16 in 1982 when I heard Maiden for the first time and still a massive fan today. great to see young people enjoying Maidens music today. Great reaction
They crazy thing there about everyone singing with the band is because they are here in brazil, where people speaks portuguese. This show was legendary.
A couple hundred thousand people in the audience know every word, every note, like they know their own first name... Lifelong allegiance to a band... You kids should checkout some Rush live performances.
I saw these guys in Western Australia in 2016. The stadium was packed. People of all ages, from grandparents to kids (I saw one kid who would have been about 5). People of all colours. When they played this song the whole crowd was chanting and singing along. It was amazing. Talking to people before and after the show, everyone was so friendly. I hope that you get to experience something like that.
Glad to see a new generation seeing the artists who laid the ground work for current rock and metal. If you both want great music with a strong story go with these by Maiden. Alexander the Great, The Talisman, Dance of Death (live) and Wasted Years
Greater good of a God, Blood Brothers Afraid to shoot stranger(I know I'll get crucified, but I prefer Blaze's version), The Clansman, Pilgrim, Powerslave, Acces High, 2 minutes to midnight... I can go on and on. Is there any song by them with a bad music and a weak story?
well, i was there bck in 2001. it was HOT. Even after past midnight as it was summer. Last show of the day. After several shows. There were fire hoses to wet the crowd and cool down the heat. Thats why everybody is shirtless.
Rock in Rio is a live album and video by British heavy metal band Iron Maiden, recorded at the Rock in Rio festival, Brazil in 2001 on the last night of the Brave New World Tour. The band played to approximately 250,000 people; the second largest crowd of their career (the band's largest concert attendance was their 1985 Rock In Rio performance to an audience of 300,000)[4] and with the relatively recent return of lead singer Bruce Dickinson and guitarist Adrian Smith to the band, they recorded their fifth live release.
I was in front and center in that concert, and when I close my eyes I can still feel the deep bass power of the speaker-walls inside my chest. Best band ever. And zep of course.
Great to see young ones discovering Maiden. Enough with the slow stuff, check out the Trooper to hear why this band is so distinct from the others of their era. That bass sound is the essence of the band (it's the bassist that writes most of the music and lyrics).
He is also a Doctor of Literature, Doctor of Medieval History, classical composer, destroyer of cancer, children's author, qualified airline pilot and a bloody nice guy.
I've been listening to Maiden since 1983 and saw my first show in 8th grade in 1984. So happy that y'all can appreciate their music. They are still the best live band I've ever seen (up to 14 shows now). Even their more recent albums are really good, which is unusual for a band that 's been around as long as Iron Maiden has.
Oh Well, wherever, wherever you are, Iron Maiden's gonna get you, no matter how far. See the blood flow watching it shed up above my head. Iron Maiden wants you for dead. (Iron Maiden 1976)
I went to that. It was an EPIC concert. The fog that you see covering the audience sometimes is not fog at all. It is a cloud of dust from people jumping around on dry soil.
To Claire and Walker: Nice to see you enjoying Iron Maiden as much as I did when I discovered them in the 80's. You have an excellent understanding of music and arrangement at a young age, and a good ear for what is happening in these songs. You show a lot of class by asking people to like and subscribe AFTER you've provided your reaction (most others do so in the beginning). In this video, you appreciated having 100 subscribers. That has grown to over 13,000 and you deserve them all. I would suggest you check out the earlier works of Rush - a perfect combination of lyrics, vocals, and music composition. To Claire and Walker's parents: Wonderful job raising intelligent children, introducing them to older music, and allowing them to present themselves to the world in a fun way.
I love seeing your great reaction to the MIGHTY Maiden. I've been a fan since my teens back in the early 80's. Seen them live about 7 or 8 times. They never fail to impress me even after 40 years. Glad you like their stuff guys. Go listen to the rest of their stuff, you'll be hooked for life. ROCK ON!
The crazy and interesting thing with Iron maiden, (think about it) is that when you listen a song... is like a tale... and you can imagine in your mind the song... walking trough the park... or in the corner of your room in the night thinking that there is something there ovserving you... creepy... the same happened with your reaction on rime of the ancient mariner. Please check "Dance of death" ;)
You guys probably did not notice that on Hallowed be thy name had 2 guitars and fear of the dark has 3. Iron Maiden has been a 3 guitar band since 2000
you have just been witness to, in one video, several example of the 'infamous Iron Maiden time changes' and did you notice? this is their current line up with 4 guitar virtuosos you won't see that very often 🤘
If we're talking about repetition in Iron Maiden songs, then I've gotta mention The Evil that Man Do. Chorus is pretty much same line over and over but cant get tired of it. There's also Blood Brothers.
If u guys want to check out some other band u might want to venture into Nightwish. Usually people start out with Ghost Love Score live from Wacken 13 if u guys feel that one is too long Storytime from that same consert is a good option. if u are going to do some Nightwish make sure to listen to them live as they are at their best on live shows. Good luck with your channel, take care and stay safe.
Megadeth are an amazing band to, I love their music and they are very creative and great musicianship, tornado of souls is a great song and story, very awesome reaction . Thank you guys .
Thank you so much for your reactions, great song and great live song to top it off, I absolutely love their music and they are my favorite metal band ever. Thank you both very much.
If you want your sub count to go up then react to a band called Nightwish and their song called "Ghost Love Score" official live video from Wacken..... the Nightwish army will come....
Subs are nice, but I have already had them listen to ghost love score. So it would have to be a review instead of a reaction. I just want to make sure they are having fun and enjoying some music that is new to them.
I was around your age (13 years old) when I discovered Iron Maiden and after 27 years (now I'm 40) Iron Maiden still makes me happy! Up the Irons! You need to check The Rime of the Ancient Mariner next.
For a lot of people Iron Maiden is like a religious experience seeing them live. They're very loved and there's an army of people who say "Up the Irons", It's very cool.
That was a part of their 2001 tour in Brazil. Totally awesome. Just for curiosity, Bruce Dickinson, the lead vocal is a licensed pilot, he flies their plane for their concerts world around.
I don't exactly agree... I was raised in the 90s with all kinds of music, but found my way to music from the 70s and 80's later. It did help that listening to the radio in the 90s was great here in the Netherlands. Still is good. But I know the situation of radio in the USA: it's so seperated into genres, that doesn't broaden the horizon. And well, spotify-playlists are also segregated. So well, I get it... In the states you have to raise kids on good music.... Unfortunately.
I don't remember which Super Bowl, but Prince did the halftime show and did Purple Rain, and fittingly, it was pouring rain during the performance. EPIC PERFORMANCE!
Iron Maiden in my opinion is the greatest band ever!!!!! They are and have been my all time favorite band for over thirty five years. I have been to hundreds of concerts in the past thirty years and Iron Maiden are the greatest band I have ever seen live. The last time I saw them was last year on their Legacy Of The Beast Tour, and in my opinion they are still as amazing now as they were thirty years ago. If you two ever get the chance, go see them live the next time they come close to your town. They are insanely amazing.
I was Walker's age the first time I saw Iron Maiden live in concert in the mid 80's- I saw them for the 6th time last year - they are still as amazing live as ever. What an incredible band and yeah - when the crowd chants along with their songs it is super cool. Bruce (the singer) is also a pilot and flies the band's plane on tour, amongst his other talents he was also a champion fencer and an author. Keep reacting to Maiden and your Night Wish reaction was cool too... my other favorite band is Rush - you guys should check them out too.
It warms my heart to see our youth being corrupted by Iron Maiden. I remember when I was about 11 and being completely captivated by all things Iron Maiden. I believe in a time before electronic media, guys like this would have been the greatest storytellers of all...
Good job guys. It's good to see your generation appreciating the legends that paved the way for so many other bands. Talent was a must back then. Now technology can make up for a lack of skill. And keep in mind these guys are pushing 60ish? at the time of this concert.
I think the best part of the audience singing along, other than the sheer number of people, is that English isn’t their first language. This was in BRAZIL. And they know almost all the words to all the songs from this concert. Maiden, educating the masses since Run to the Hills!
React to Wracthchild from the same show And if possible, react to the whole show. I'm 16 too love you guys. I've been a fan of them since I was 8. They are one the best but very underrated in my opinion. That's all keep doing it guys, it makes me really happy.
The absolute best version of this song. I was at this show in 2001. Only time I've seen them out of the US. Like your father, I am a lifelong fan of Iron Maiden. I have been to every US tour they've done. Most recently last year in September on Friday the 13th in Las Vegas then the very next night in Los Angeles. Have never missed a tour.
@@3YearsApart1613 yes you could say that. But there are even more dedicated fans out there than I. Although I do have my left arm fully sleeved tattoo of a collage of different "Eddie's".
Haven't read all the comments so maybe someone has already told you about Eddie. His full name is "Eddie the Head". It was just a head mask like for Halloween they had set up on an amp when they played. Hence the name. Well, fans liked it and Eddie has become a staple for Iron Maiden fans everywhere. Up the Irons my junior metal heads. By the way. New sub here. Keep them reacts coming. Maybe venture into Judas Priest and their song Painkiller. I think you might enjoy it. ✌
A lot more than 5000 people. Ive seen them live twice, and they sound better than most bands on CD. I'd suggest 'All along the Watchtower' by Hendrix. And 'With a little help from my friends,' by Joe Cocker next. It really is great to see young people get into great music. I left school at 15 and started full-time work back in the 80s. And I was into everything. You have got more choice than any generation before you. Make the most of it.
Thank you so much for reacting to fear of the dark by Iron Maiden this has to be my favourite song by them and it is definitely a crowdpleaser as you could see.💀🎼🖤🎸🦇🕸🕷🎧☠️😎🤘
I think you guys would really enjoy watching the entire Flight 666 documentary. You'll be full-blown Maiden fans by the end of it, and have a greater appreciation for the band's international fan base. Seeing the young men crying after a show (I think in Colombia?) really brought the point home for me. Up The Irons!
The impact of music discovery when there is unlimited access to resources to bring it alive and be heard, the point is to find the music you like and enjoy it before your youth disappears. Enjoy the music and let it propel you into the future , embrace the freedom of being able to choose , music is magic and uplifting!enjoyed your video!
I've got to comment that the dance move that Bruce does is needing no making up for; it's very cool and creepy, like some skeleton or ghoul or whatever. It's very fitting for the song. I was about to recommend this song to ya'll. I'm glad that you got to see them in a live performance, in a large venue, which is more fitting for them. I think y'all would enjoy a newer song of theirs, called "Rainmaker". It's very positive.
When i discovered this band i was the same age of your little brother, of course at the 80's I received a cassette tape from England for a "new" band that nobody knew at that time ... So i gave this "new" band an opoprtunity and when listened at that tape. it was their first album. My reaction when at that time i heard all this new heavy sound and changes of rythmes was so so espectacular like a "Nirvana" and my skin turned like chicken with really strong emotions .. I knew that this will be the best band i will hear on my life and up to now it is, my friends. smiles, do the maths. So, seeing you discovering this band brings me those lovely memories... Best wishes brothers keep doing this ! . Sorry my english and waves from Buenos Aires, Argentina.- And please react to bands of my country. We have real good bands and the best crowd of the world and lot of rock and heavy metals fans so you will full your channel of suscribers inmediatly. Cheers!!
Great choice from the Iron Maiden Live shows so far. In the 70's and 80's in the UK we had some great Metal bands, check out some of these at their live concerts - Judas Priest - Deep Purple - Rainbow - Thin Lizzy - Saxon - Black Sabbath - AC/DC.....
There are two kinds of people in the world, those who get Iron Maiden and those who don't. How sad it must be to be in the latter group. But your videos are exposing some folks who don't get them simply because they've never heard them before into that first group of people. So... you're performing a public service IMHO. Great stuff. Keep it up.
Hello, you mentioned that Bruce, the singer, could do Broadway. He is a very talented, some of his talents are: 1. Lead Singer 2. Airline Pilot - is a part-time pilot with, I think, Virgin, and also pilots the band's 747 3. Has represented the UK at the Olympics in fencing 4. Presents documentaries on various subjects. I am sure he does other interesting things, but an all-round multi-talented bloke.
Claire's been VERY attached to her ponytail that day, huh?! Just kidding... ;-) This melody is in my head since I heard it first...what a great song, and again: it's always adorable how you kids react to this music! Horns Up!!!
Just subscribed! Maiden is my fave band. Seen them live 29 times! Last year they were playing only in US so I travelled from Poland to NYC just to see them. They rock - they over 60! Wanna punchy rock song ? Wicker Man live rock in rio! ;) cheers 🥂
Great reaction video, I totally recommend 'Iron Maiden - The Trooper - En Vivo' recorded on 2011 in Chile and it shows, besides the great live performance of the band, the euphoric audience.
Thanks for liking my comment. Already subscribed now. Speaking of which, have you listened to The Number of the Beast already? If not, it'd be a good reaction.

I was goin to tell the same: kiddo stop pausing solos!!!!
NEVER!! You'll go into metal jail
Steve Harris ( the one in the shorts you mentioned ) can wear whatever he wishes to wear, he is a living God. Nuff said.
Best Metal bassist of all time I’d say. Followed closely by Cliff Burton
He doesn't age either. I saw him a few months ago with British Lion and he looked EXACTLY like he did 40 years ago

MelanicDisaster or loneliness of the long distance runner
I'm loving how Claire is just lovin on the guitars bless her, hope both of them continue on finding and expanding on their musical palate
I believe in a time before electronic media, guys like this would have been the greatest storytellers of all...
iron maiden is the best band ever. and then never ever pause in a solo kk
I was younger than the kid when I was introduced to maiden when Somewhere in time debuted in 86. Good to see the young ones discovering true music.
You can't beat this music, glad you teens are into it.
React to Wracthchild from the same show
And if possible, react to the whole show.
I'm 16 too love you guys. I've been a fan of them since I was 8. They are one the best but very underrated in my opinion.
That's all keep doing it guys, it makes me really happy.
Thanks for the great comment. Appreciate you watching.
You sir are a hard core fan...love it
@@3YearsApart1613 yes you could say that.
Thank you so much for reacting to fear of the dark by Iron Maiden this has to be my favourite song by them and it is definitely a crowdpleaser as you could see.💀🎼🖤🎸🦇🕸🕷🎧☠️😎🤘
Rock on!
When the changes music, it's called 'galloping', and is an Iron Maiden tendency. :-)
There are two kinds of people in the world, those who get Iron Maiden and those who don't. How sad it must be to be in the latter group. But your videos are exposing some folks who don't get them simply because they've never heard them before into that first group of people. So... you're performing a public service IMHO. Great stuff. Keep it up.
Thanks Kurtis. Doing our part for the good of all.
Sign of the cross live rock in rio IRON MAIDEN
I spent a few hours with their drummer, Nicko, at a drum clinic at Atlanta Pro Percussion about 1987.....
And at 6:48, it suddenly hit her just how amazing Iron Maiden really is.
Hello, you mentioned that Bruce, the singer, could do Broadway. He is a very talented, some of his talents are:
1. Lead Singer
2. Airline Pilot - is a part-time pilot with, I think, Virgin, and also pilots the band's 747
3. Has represented the UK at the Olympics in fencing
Horns Up!!!
11:08 5,000 people in harmony... When I went to the Iron Maiden show in Chicago last summer I think Bruce said there were like 16,000 people there.
Iron Maiden is the best rockband in the world... 🤘😷👍
They do that with pretty much every song, slow at the beginning then they blast off and head for the moon
Ok, at the end, what a good analysis by your daughter! Impressively astute. For first timers they are right there! Peace, Phil
Hats off to your dad for introducing you two to awesome music!!
I don't know why but both of you remind me of the 90s
Great reaction keep it up
If you like the audience singing... try German band Blind Guardian with their two songs The Bard's Song / Valhalla
I was born a few months before this album came out. I literally grew up with it in the house.
Just subscribed! Maiden is my fave band. Seen them live 29 times! Last year they were playing only in US so I travelled from Poland to NYC just to see them. They rock - they over 60! Wanna punchy rock song ? Wicker Man live rock in rio! ;) cheers 🥂
Wow..29 times? Someone commented that they have seen them 10 times, but you have almost tripled that. You sir are a hard-core fan.
The best Heavy Metal band in the world. With the same lead singer. With an extra guitarist from the previous video.
what a pleasure it is to see children listening to this music
Great reaction video, I totally recommend 'Iron Maiden - The Trooper - En Vivo' recorded on 2011 in Chile and it shows, besides the great live performance of the band, the euphoric audience.
I wanna subscribe, but their sub count is at a perfect 666. I'm having a moral dilemma.
Ha..that's hilarious. You can subscribe now since you won't be the one to break the number.
Thanks for liking my comment. Already subscribed now. Speaking of which, have you listened to The Number of the Beast already? If not, it'd be a good reaction.
Yes that is Bruce Dickinson same singer but the last album/tour he recorded with iron maiden and would return the band 15 yrs later.
The original rock in Rio concert, in my opinion, is the greatest concert of all time is literally moves me 🤟🤟🤟💯💯💯
The audience is Brazilian. We love this kind of big concerts!!!
