If there are girlgroups who deserve it it would rather be BILLLIE and PIXY with their music coming from the future and their out-of-space concepts, PURPLE KISS ain't bad too when you know they partake in the writing and producing of their songs, and probably some other groups that I'm not aware of. Now don't get me wrong, I love IVE. I'm a WIZ*ONE so I came to learn about and love them from the very first teasers. But as a group who doesn’t partake in producing, have only 6 songs after 9 months of debut and who have few impressive choreos (as a girlgroup), I don't think they "fully" deserved it. Tho I think they have really good music, idk if there's an award for B-sides but to me "Royal" fully deserves to be B-side of the year.
It's interesting that almost no reactor could recognize Gloria's song. I mean, i'm saying it with no offense, but i'm from EU and that song was on radio and MTV all the time. That song was just too popular in my region to forget it, so i'm glad Starship sampled it and use it for IVE's title track! :) Thank you for the reaction :)
