I recently found these interviews stored on an old computer, and since they're so hard to find I wanted to share them so everyone has a chance to watch them! But you might want to save them to your computer to be safe, in case they get taken down ~
I've been wanting to watch some old interviews from the Charmed ladies, as I didn't watch it much when it came out back in the late 90s. This is awesome, thanks!
That scene where Paige's parents come back and tell her they are proud of her always tears me up! Transitioning from Prue to Paige could've gone so wrong, but Rose did such a great job!!
@@rosemarypark6093 I would really recommend watching some of the season one episodes, there are some real gems in there! Wicca Envy, I've Got You Under My Skin, Deja Vu All Over Again, Dream Sorcerer, The Wedding From Hell.. and of course the pilot! 🥰
The way Rose is speaking about Holly and Alyssa here is so nice that I don't think that anything bad between them happened during the show. If there was something what made their relationship worse it was after they finished series
Completely agree! I don't know if Rose and Alyssa were friends, but they definitely didn't seem to have a problem with each other until the Me Too stuff started happening.. and given that Holly was still defending Alyssa up until a year before the podcast happened, it definitely suggests that whatever happened between them happened long after the show finished. I get people have falling outs, but it seems a bit unfair to rewrite history to demonize Alyssa..
I notice that Paige's orbing was different from Leo's and other whitelighters. Her's was like scattering out and in, oppose to up and down. With Phoebe relying on leprechans, from Ohy My Goddess! pt1-s8, seems like she was taking them for granted. With Paige knowing she orbed out of the car when her parents died, Leo said she needs to forgive herself. To me I think not. That would mean that it was her fault, but she learned that it wasn't. So what Leo should've said was "U don't need forgiveness, u just need to let it go". Its different but holds the same benfits. They should've talked about "A Knight to Remember". Rose did an excellent job as a woman in the dark ages. Including a dark tone of voice she used, with old english talks and verbs. Being part whilghter, Paige was like Charmedverse of nephilim. Can't have her wings clipped, cause her powers r inherited, not given. And can't b recycled cause she is still alive, and would have to die first.
@@sifilore Great points!! And yeah, it definitely felt like at some point Paige started taking the leprechaun's help for granted.. it's a shame that they decided to write her character backwards in some ways. 😓
@weirdlybeloved yes she was amazing ... Them adding Rose to the cast and introducing Paige could of went so bad but both the writing and rose her self made magic no pun intended .... I just wish Prue and Paige could have met at least once on screen ....

2:21 Wow one could only wonder who thought of that idea... Personal gain and somehow her chest growing is the backfire? Right. It would have been a lot better if her powers were wonky, or if she ended up getting sick; But no.. They grew her chest..
Right? The show tried to justify it as 'oh, you made him the subject of ogling, so now you are too' and it's like.. so the man doesn't have to have a bigger 'package' to make him a target of harassment, but the woman does? I can feel the misogyny from here. And like you said, we have a good idea who was responsible for that.
@@weirdlybeloved It was so disturbing! And the fact they gave her the line ''Do u think it worked a little too well?'' was just ick! They were sexualizing them so much. I understand its not a kids show, But did he rlly have to go that far... And Rose JUST joined the show at the time.
@weirdlybeloved I really do feel sad for the actors who played them. Being the bottom of the joke must not have been a pleasant experience. Fortunately, times are starting to change when it comes to representation of disabiliy in media.
@@francoisleborgne6259 Me too! And the worst part about it is that the episode Happily Ever After aired earlier that same season, and the guy who played the head dwarf (Danny Woodburn) apparently improvised/ad libbed a lot of his lines and everyone loved it! So it's a shame that they had just had an episode where they saw how talented and funny the actors are, yet STILL decided to make them the joke later on.. it's so sad. :(
She loves Charmed. She speaks highly of the show even now, but did have a lot of issues because of the environment of the set especially from Brad Kern
@JeBusInYoutbe Idk, I don't think Rose would have put so much of herself into the show (she helped the writers model the character off her personality and even brought her own clothes in for the wardrobe) if she didn't like the show. I think it's just a case of loving the job itself but hating the working environment, which is fair.
