I've bought a few clone pairs of Jordan 1s before, the shape of the highs are great for BMX but I'm not lining up at a Nike store or paying $500+ to a reseller for real ones. My favorite's were a clone pair of the Travis Scott Mochas because the Velcro weed pockets on the side were actually GREAT ankle protection.
I saw a fake Tech Deck once where they’d full on made a rip off of Flame Boy for the graphic but instead of him being a flame ball, he was just a yellow ball with the same face, arms and legs. 😂

Don't know for sure if fake, but I bought a pair of eS brown OG Accels a while back, and on the first day of skating the stitching and then the whole toe covering came off, revealing nothing beneath and I could throw em away. Bought it online from a reputable skate shop, so figure it was a real eS product, just extremely poor quality for such a legacy brand and shoe that it put me off buying any more of their stuff for some time. I've had similar experiences with some Half Cabs: pretty sure they were official Vans, just a poorly made, non-skater oriented version of their iconic skate shoe. So yeah, if not even Nike owns its own factories, skate companies shopping around different manufacturers to see who can do it cheapest is probably a thing, so that perfect shoe you skated in the 90s/00s might superficially resemble the one on sale now but be a completely different build quality.

It is very expensive in the ad, so i brush it off. But if i had money i would have buy it cause i liked the deck shape. Now i know it is the Koston Ripoff
The best ones are not just simply fakes; I've been skating a Vans Era looking shoe for a few years now that's made in the same factory as Vans, except they upgraded the materials and design. It's got a rubber toe cap around the entire front half of the shoe. Skates super good, really durable and comfortable, and they only cost 20 dollars. Fakes are only for ppl that want to look like they can afford the real thing, but there is also a side where they are piggybacking off the existing R&D from these brands and making improvements, while also selling for way cheaper. All the marketing/writing about it on their posts say it's to help out the local skaters in China. Really makes you think how much of a mark up these brands must be making...maybe they should pay their skaters better.
my local is a lil sketchy.. i bought a complete and the graphic was one i have never seen before, an almostxskatistanxskybrown board and when i went back to ask about it they just said “its a limited edition skatistan board” and honestly i just know their lying if it was fr limited edition i would atleast see it online like wtf but atleast the hardware looks legit and works good

One word. CHYNA 🇨🇳
80s saw loads of knock off beginner boards in Australia and nz cab dragon decks with his name completely wrong,Jason Jesse designs were commonly ripped off to.ive herd of people collecting the various crappy knock offs
“Koston never took wack sponsors.”
Counter argument: The Berrics
just bought a zero from my local skate shop and the deck says its from china..... what up with that
the most funniest fake skateboard products ive ever seen is like skateboarding shoes that were nike since people use it to skate in my country instead of seeing "Nike" written on it its "Naia" which is literally a name of a airport in short in my country
I miss my pair of ice cream shoes ! I had the all pink ones ! They were so dope !
This video is the whole reason I only shop at my local skateshop
holy man you potentialy saved me from this Koston ripoff thing HAHAHAHAHA. I'm somewhat new in the skate comunity, and other day i've found a sale for a 2nd hand Koston longboard. It is very expensive in the ad, so i brush it off. But if i had money i would have buy it cause i liked the deck shape. Now i know it is the Koston Ripoff
Self Bust! 😂
Deep dive Skull Skates.
I'm from Chicago we got fake everything. The market for its huge actually. It's kinda sad, u can hardly tell these days.
Some of it is insanely real looking. I guess Chicago would have a ton, cause you guys are Jordan crazy out there!
I found fake B⭐️pe shoes
P ⭐️ be
my local is a lil sketchy..
i bought a complete and the graphic was one i have never seen before, an almostxskatistanxskybrown board and when i went back to ask about it they just said “its a limited edition skatistan board” and honestly i just know their lying
if it was fr limited edition i would atleast see it online like wtf
but atleast the hardware looks legit and works good
I found a pair of “VNNS Cool School’s”
7:11 the Jordan 5 shoe shown as a bad, made up fake example was a real release 😂
Funniest pirate sneaker... We know adidas, right? This dude had a pair of aaaaaa's.
haha that's dope. Levi ordered a THRONGAR t-shirt off wish, got his credit card stolen and when it showed up it said THRASHER and was just a really bad bootleg. Sad times
