I loved rodland on the amiga bitd. Im currently playing marioland 2. Its a good game.. but im finding it hard to play in one go. The original is still my favourite. Those systema lcds are so nostalgic. They were the lower tier, but they were the ones the anoyed mum and dad the most as a kid 🤣 I like a bit of patina in realy old paper. Great stuff 👌✌️
I must've missed out not playing Rodland back on the Amiga, if ever I see it I might pick it up as I still have my Amiga. Super Mario World will always be my favourite Mario, absolutely magical game. Haha the sounds of those LCD games I guess would be pretty annoying to listen to in the background for hours on end, my parents had great patience looking back😆 Yeah I agree about old paper, this one is extremely fragile at this point and crumbles easily, but when youy think it's best part of 50 years old not surprising. Cheers for watching mate👍
Hi Lee, Street footy sounds fun mate, and 180, it's definitely my no 1 darts game, I never played Wacky Darts, I should have a go I know, and Jocky Wilson too haha. Cool Godzilla too. Nice pickups matey 👍
Cheers Paul, there was something about Wacky Darts, me and my best mate always loved playing that one, had 180 aswell but we played Wacky Darts more. The Shin Godzilla figure is stunning.
People say 180 is the best darts game on the Speccy because it is the best darts gane on the Speccy 😉 Be careful, if you say "Jace" three times on TH-cam, he appears 😮😂 We need to make you a t-shirt that reads "Will Dance for Games" 😂😂 If I'm ever down your way, I'll be your player 2 😉
Haha I'll keep a couple 2 player games just incase😁 I'm sure you're right about 180, I did live that too but it was Wacky Darts we played the most. Looking forward to loading it back up.
Happy Birthday mate - looks like you've had a good ol' collect-em-up recently! When your dogs started, I thought it was mine 😆. I was watching on a Monday morning so I opted for a cuppa. I did a first play of Wacky Darts on the 64 not so long ago - it's a real fun darts game, really nice presentation. Loved the story about earning your LCD game hehe. I knew you'd get a few more Videopac games mate - we can't help ourselves 😆
😄hey you were right about the Videopac games, you must've jinxed me there haha. Trouble is my reselling plans are sound, but it's getting around top ever advertising this stuff that is my weak point, reason I try to avoid buying bundles but this one was too good not to. Cheers Richard, look forward to seeing you at Revival buddy👍
This video flew by fair play, the room looks great buddy so much cool stuff in there. Think I seen a County Kilkenny mirror while you were showing Godzilla, funnily enough I was in Kilkenny over the weekend🍀 very nice pick ups. Loved the Hardcore 44 jazz hands magic fingers to honor Jace and the nostalgic Spanish gaming story!🌍 The majestic Madra barking spells were perfect!🐶🎵🐶 If I'm the Patrick who most likely won't appreciate witnessing wee pixelated Mice losing their little lives then you're probably spot on my friend.😂💚🐭 Hope you have a wonderful venture next weekend and stumble across loads of good gaming folk in the community just to make it that much better! Stay safe man.🎮🌠🌍
Cheers Patrick, hehe yes it was your good self I was referring too, you might want to skip that video when it goes up as it's pretty graphic and completely unexpected for a Videopac game. Yes that Kilkenny mirror I've owned since the mid 90's, love it😁 Really looking forward to Revival, should be a great social.
@@Tetlee Ah don't worry buddy I've seen almost every violent abhorrent thing you can imagine to real life sentient beings, it's part an parcel of being an animal rights activist and advocating against the unnecessary harm.🌱 Ah nice mirror wise and I'm sure Revival will be a great adventure especially if you're doing both days! Everyone should stack up there pick ups, it's the future 🥰. That poster behind you is very cool. Enjoyed rodland, I played it mainly on the amiga. Look forward to the wacky darts vid, not a game I recall. 🐕 🤣😂. Nice video pac bundle, love the chunky boxes. Great pick ups.
Haha I just don't have the knack Dave, you're the master at it😁 Yeah that poster is amazing, it's massive aswell. The Videopac vids don't do well(I lost subs the last two of those I did😬😝) but they'll keep coming, haha. I'll gradually mix them in with the others. Cheers Dave matey👍
Cheers Alex, yeah patience paid off in the end thankfully, they were worth waiting for at least. The poster is amazing, the missus wasn't impressed when she saw the state of it out the tube but even she liked the end result. Thanks for watching as always mate👍
Brilliant Godzilla!! Even more brilliant movie poster!!! Happy Birthday mate!! Wishing you many many more! (mine was on the 2nd of May. This was #68, so not celebrated). I hope you had the opportunity to sample far beyond the maximum recommended volume of craft beer for a single evening. CHEERS!!! Athough I had a tighter budget than you, I did find 2 TI carts I did not have (happy Birthday to me!!)...Addition & Subtraction 3 from Scott Foresman (with full box and manual - Scott Foresman boxes are hard to find, so it was a great find) and Millken Fractions. The latter turned out to be the original label version of Milliken's Fractional Numbers which I already had, so I'm glad it was cheap sicne it was trechncally a duplicate. There are precious few games missing from my collection, and so educational titles are all I have with missing spaces in the shelf. When I first started re-building my TI-99 library about 15-20 years ago, Ambulance was everywhere. That being the case I put it at the bottom of my priority list assuming it was quite common. Huge mistake! within a few months, it was nowhere to be found (except a labelless copy that was way overpriced). I finally found it (Video Vegas is the only Funware cart I'm missing now) but not with a box (Rabbit Trail is the only full- package (box/manual/cartridge) that I have from Funware, and that was a gift thrown into a mass-lot I purchased on eBay. (Mike Dudek, a VERY trustworthy seller on eBay, who never over-prices his goods AND actually worked at TI during the 4A's run, so is also a wealth of information.) If anyone watcing has a Funware Video Vegas cartridge they'd like to sell (gave up on a boxed cart ages ago) , and is emotionally prepared to deal with shipping to Canada, I would really love to hear form you so that I might complete the Funware collection. I'm surprised that more Parker Brothers boxes did not survive the decades, they are so well constructed of a high quality heavy card-stock unlike the flimsy boxes of companies like AtariSoft (which yes came in two sizes...Ms PacMan, Jungle Humt' Moon Patrol & Pole Position were released in the smaller box, the larger boxes being both a theft deterrent, and allowing Atari to print on existing 2600 card stock (where the large boxes, were again, devised as a theft deterrent.) btw, geriatric me truly apprediates the slower pace of TI Ms Pacman. I have little patience in my decrepitude for games that kill me too quickly, and TI MS Pacman is not so slow as to make the game unenjoyable, but allows me to navigate through all 4 levels without dying repeatedly. Criticism of the port in this regard is just not justified (and even more than MS Pacman, the TI port of Pacman, while equally lethargic, is easily one of the most beautiful ports of the game on any system, right down to the multicoloured fruit). I criticize the loss of cutscenes more than the slower pace. Absolutely agree with you about Turmoil. Excellent modern port of a classic Atari game. Like my love-life of late, a game only lasts a minute or two (or under 30 seconds), but can be a wildly entertaining minute oir two (unlike my love-life of late) Look forward to seeing Rockland. Surprisingly, I've never seen Supermario on the SNES (single income/no kids during it's heyday) and have only played level one on the TI-99 (which I have been told is a near identical experience except for the controller). My Mario was Mario 64, or as I like to call it "Mario Croft Tomb Raider" (Remove Lara's arsenal, and the gameplay similarities are undeniable - jump/climb/slide solve puzzles). Interesting that your Speccy haul were both from CodeMasters (who I will always associate with the original (and still brilliant) Colin McRae Rally which made them a very trusted software house for me. ("chicane, 300 metres, then hard right to finish") And yes! The Australian dialog Mad Max remains my favourite in the franchise and is a testament to story-driven sci-fi on the cheap. (and a Mel Gibson pre-lunacy) In closing, I put way too much lemon in my tea (so say my friends) so a sour bitter beer may well work for me. Also, prostituting one's self in one's youth for a desired game is perfectly acceptable (my mum would have forced me to dance and refused the gift). Anyway, this comment is now beyond long enough...so until next time! (and yes we all noticed your mirror image at the end)
Wow, best video comment ever!😁 Late Happy Birthday to you too my friend. And super thanks as you just made me sound young😉 Some TI games make great self Birthday presents don't they. I had chance of a few boxed Funware titles a few years ago from France, and we were part of the EU back then so would've been a smooth transaction, but just like yourself I delayed and never see them now. Weirdly you don't often see the TI Parker Bros games for sale in the UK full stop, leave alone boxed, I guess not too many were brought over here, we had all of them apart from Popeye growing up. ]I hear you about slower pace games being suited to older age, hopefully I will feel the same way, but regardless just having it and being able to play it again will be truly special as it was probably one of my most played back in the day. Turmoil is a superb port, for some reason would've never expected that to run so well on the TI but I think I prefer it over the 800. Codemasters games were my staple on the Speccy as the video library opposite my old house used to stock them all the time so could just nip across and buy them, thankfully most of them were pretty damn good and so cheap! Too much lemon in your tea, not good at all, should've made a fresh one😆
Man, I have great memories of Street Gang Football, I used to LOVE it. One of the top games I sought out when starting my Speccy collection. As you say, was a little tricky to find, that other Speccy game kept coming up in my Ebay search. Nice one Lee, and happy Father’s Day. 🍻
Hey that's brilliant to know I wasn't the only one that loved Street Gang Football, never once seen anybody else mention it but I thought it was brilliant back in the day, thrilled to have finally found it. Happy Fathers Day to you too buddy, see ya soon👍
Haha wondered if you might see that bit😆 Ah yes it must've been that which set them off, maybe they thought the show was about to start on the downstairs TV😉
Super pickups Lee, the poster is awesome i think the "damage" just makes it look even better to be honest mate, the statue looks amazing. Rodland is an Amiga game to me, never played it in the arcades but it was brill on the Miggy Hahahaha smoosing with the old lady i like your style!
Cheers Stu, glad you liked the poster, took an entire afternoon carefully removing the masking tape off the pack and then repoairing with the correct archival repair tape. This thing is so fragile after best part of 50 years and being so large was a bit of a mission. Looks awesome now though. Surprised I never happened across Rodland on the Amiga, weird that but this version really is impressive for an 8bit handheld. As for the old lady, I did what had to be done🤣
Ah yes Gauntlet, think I have played that one on the Beeb, was also on the Spectrum and apparently very good although I've never played that one. Cheers for watching.
Some great pickups there. Interestingly a favourite game of mine is called Turmoil on the MSX but its a totally a different game I think. Also loving the Turbo Esprit poster in the background :)
That's interesting to learn, there are quite a few games with same games but totally different on different systems. I'll look that one up out of curiosity. The Turbo Esprit is actually a metal plaque, what a game that was(well, still is).
That godzilla statue looks awesome lee buddy 😮 when your dogs started barking my dog bricked it and scarpered 😂 that mad max vhs 😍 im 99% sure i had a mad max trilogy vhs boxset back in the day, sure i did 😂 that handheld game looks very familiar aswel bud. Love that artwork on the ambulance box 😊
I'm in awe at the Shin Godzilla statue, absolutely perfect and well worth the wait(that was tough knowing it was upstairs at work). haha your poor dog, not that he'd have bothered legging it if he'd seen the dogs behind the barks🤣 Seems a few in here had the same Systema game, I guess they were the entry level of LCD games. Yep I love the Ambulance artwork aswell, one of the reasons I had to upgrade. Cheers Steve mate, you at Revival next weekend?
Great pickups mate, and I love the Godzilla stuff. We watched the new Godzilla Minus One this week on Netflix and honestly I didn't think it was actually all that great, unfortunately. Heard good things about Shin Godzilla. 👍 Have to say I really enjoy watching your pickup because I never know what you're going to show us and most of the time I've never heard of it 😂
If you want to watch Shin Godzilla, please don't bother renting it as those are dubbed by default and the dubbing is horrendous. You can buy it on bluray for £8 and then have it subtitled instead, makes it way better. Surprised you didn't like Minus One, I absolutely loved that movie! Haha happy you like seeing my random stuff, sounds like me watching James retroimportgamer😄 See you there weekend mate👍
What a fantastic deal on that Videopac bundle and a few nice games too, Pickaxe Pete isn't cheap and Mousing Cat seems quite uncommon to me, look forward to hearing what you think of that. I e got Smithereens and also need a 2nd player🤣 Love the system3 LCD F1 game, had that back in the day, had forgotten about it The poster looks fantastic behind you, the ageing adds to the effect of it I think See you next week 👍
Haha not just me lacking a 2nd player then. Monkey Shines would've been top of my wants list if I had somebody to play with, looks so great that one🐒 Yeah I'm tempted with how the poster turned out, took a lot of very careful effort to get it fixed up. See you the weekend 😎👍
I've actually got an even better one which is double the size, just trying to find a suitable frame for it. So happy to have them, Superior Software were the nuts! Thanks for watching and commenting🙂
Cheers Lee, ah so it wasn't just me that didn't like Fury Road then, seems most Mad Max fans loved it. I'd put the third one above it. Seems quite a few of us had the Systema game😁
Well done on the poster Lee; looks amazing. I’ll have to check out Rod Land. Not one I’ve played on any system. Regarding the super gameboy, I suspect it’s the device itself that’s region locked (think of it as a snes cart) as opposed to the gameboy carts which are multi region. Must be something odd going on to allow the playing of the bonus game haha. I absolutely love that Godzilla figure 😍 Have a super time at Revival! Lots of people seem to be heading there. I’ve a blooming clash unfortunately but hope to catch you at a future event. All the best. 👍
Ah that's a real shame you aren't going to Revival, had a feeling you'd be there and would've been great to come say hello. Hopefully some other event though. Yes the Shin Godzilla figure is a thing of beauty, absolutely thrilled having it on the shelf, can't stop admiring it haha. Oh and the poster is awesome too, took some work to get it repaired and into the frame but love it now. Cheers Ed.
Haha there have been some brilliant Pacman clone names over the year, Munchman, Muncher, Dot Eater the list is endless 😆 Cheers Goldtooth mate. You up at Revival next weekend?
haha, hey you got the right idea from that expression, no description needed, almost enough to make your ass pucker! 😆 It was quite nice by the time I finished it though, weirdly makes you want another one.
That’s brilliant news that you have finally received those ti99 games bruv Hoping to see plenty of videos covering these new ti99 games intrigued to see what Qbert plays like Wow I never knew Rodland came out on the gameboy 😮 I need to play wacky darts now as I’ve always regarded 180 the best speccy darts game Alligator what a film that’s a great grab on VHS Hahahah I had that exact lcd game of FI I didn’t have to dance with Brenda to get mine though😂 Love the art work on the video pac games pick axe pete, what a title hahahaa That poster now it’s framed and had some TLC looks stunning mate Wow that Godzilla at the end ❤ Awesome pick ups as always bruv
Cheers Scott mate, you won't believe but I have the same issue with this Q*Bert, bonkers. Hopefully once I get it back from retro repair bear it will be working much better(taking it up to Revival). Will do a gameplay vid of Rodland sometime soon, think you'll be pretty impressed with that one tbh. I wouldn't like to say Wacky Darts is better than 180, but me and my best mate played it way more, we loved it. Will do a vid of that soon as don't think it's too well known for some reason. Hey it seems loads of us had the same Systema game, haha never expected that. Loved mine, was the only handheld system I had up until the Gameboy Colour. It was worth the dances with Brenda, we gotta do what we gotta do😁 Pickaxe Pete is indeed a great game, great game too haha. Absolutely thrilled with both the Godzilla pickups, the poster was well worth the time and effort, and Shin is stunning! Cheers Scott, look forward to catching up the weekend bud.

Haha happy you like seeing my random stuff, sounds like me watching James retroimportgamer😄
See you there weekend mate👍
What a fantastic deal on that Videopac bundle and a few nice games too, Pickaxe Pete isn't cheap and Mousing Cat seems quite uncommon to me, look forward to hearing what you think of that. I e got Smithereens and also need a 2nd player🤣
Love the system3 LCD F1 game, had that back in the day, had forgotten about it
The poster looks fantastic behind you, the ageing adds to the effect of it I think
See you next week 👍
Haha not just me lacking a 2nd player then. Monkey Shines would've been top of my wants list if I had somebody to play with, looks so great that one🐒
Yeah I'm tempted with how the poster turned out, took a lot of very careful effort to get it fixed up.
See you the weekend 😎👍
Well jealous of the Superior Software poster behind you
I've actually got an even better one which is double the size, just trying to find a suitable frame for it. So happy to have them, Superior Software were the nuts!
Thanks for watching and commenting🙂
Those game boxes are so crisp.
I wasn't a fan of Mad Max Fury Road either.
I had that systema game aswell BITD.
Another great looking Godzilla figure.
Cheers Lee, ah so it wasn't just me that didn't like Fury Road then, seems most Mad Max fans loved it. I'd put the third one above it.
Seems quite a few of us had the Systema game😁
@@Tetlee Fury Road was just a very long car chase..... boring
@@nerdygeezer78 That was exactly how I felt about it. Plus without Mel Gibson it just isn't Mad Max.
I absolutely love that Godzilla figure 😍
Have a super time at Revival!
Cheers Ed.
Munchman what a name😂Mario gameboy 👌the videopac art looks awesome as does Gerfzilla, took me back into time for a while 👊🏻
Haha there have been some brilliant Pacman clone names over the year, Munchman, Muncher, Dot Eater the list is endless 😆
Cheers Goldtooth mate. You up at Revival next weekend?
@@Tetlee Not at Revival i ain’t a clue what that mofo is 😂if you have a good one
Think I will stick to my shandy while watching this video, after the face you pulled sipping that beverage😂
haha, hey you got the right idea from that expression, no description needed, almost enough to make your ass pucker! 😆
It was quite nice by the time I finished it though, weirdly makes you want another one.
That’s brilliant news that you have finally received those ti99 games bruv
Hoping to see plenty of videos covering these new ti99 games intrigued to see what Qbert plays like
Wow I never knew Rodland came out on the gameboy 😮
I need to play wacky darts now as I’ve always regarded 180 the best speccy darts game
Alligator what a film that’s a great grab on VHS
Hahahah I had that exact lcd game of FI I didn’t have to dance with Brenda to get mine though😂
Love the art work on the video pac games pick axe pete, what a title hahahaa
That poster now it’s framed and had some TLC looks stunning mate
Wow that Godzilla at the end ❤
Awesome pick ups as always bruv
It was worth the dances with Brenda, we gotta do what we gotta do😁
Pickaxe Pete is indeed a great game, great game too haha.
Absolutely thrilled with both the Godzilla pickups, the poster was well worth the time and effort, and Shin is stunning!
Cheers Scott, look forward to catching up the weekend bud.
ZX TetLee wonderfully outstandingly magnificent splendidly remarkably glorious
