@Kris Morrice to be fair you are seeing Si is way out his league as a manager. He constantly contradicts himself. Even in this video he says he isn't taking the blame as he gave them instructions. By the next time they are playing Rangers he is saying all the other games have been his fault. His team talks are cringe as well as he seems to lose his point half way through and just says the same stuff every week.

Fair enough, but do we get to see the input from these two in every training session or the other contributions they may make behind the scenes? We've got several months of footage condensed into 80 mins after all. Maybe they don't contribute a great deal but a bit harsh to judge on limited info.

His principles never made sense he was managing a non league team who trained part time. His problem was he took Ange Postecoglu saying to him in an interview don’t change your beliefs at face value and was too stubborn to change for so long when Ange saying that was probably more or a believe in yourself thing as opposed to copy the way I play football. There’s nothing wrong with being compact or direct sometimes if it gets you results no disrespect to Broomhill but Ange can do it at Celtic & Pep at City because they have the players and the budgets to implement it.

Si's problem is that he thinks leadership is all about raising your voice and trying to constantly fire people up. There's a time and place for that but authority doesn't just come from doing that. By all accounts, Ange rarely raises his voice, he just carries himself in a way that is quietly confident and authoritative so people will naturally respect him and when does finally lose his rag its all the more scary and intense.
