For exteriors I've been using a Sennheiser blimp and shockmount, which has been working very well for me surprisingly! And of course a Rycote with baseballs for interiors, anywho, Love the video Rodolfo!
Yeah! That CS3e is definitely one of the top mics out there. To keep the weight down I am running it with a INV HG7 and a bumblebee windspacer kit. About as heavy as a softie, but unless it is really hefty wind, the long fur does the job. Also have a Rode blimp mkii that I use when doing MS. But is a heavy beast on a boompole.
You need to make a RLFO BoomOp Exercise video to show them shoulder pumps!
the boom workout nice !!! p
I love your channel!
Thanks for all the great information. Like your new style too.
3:13 = rocket sound
I LOVE my Cinela. My main zeplin is the Cinela PIA-1
Nice !! I will
try them
at some
point !!!
That would be a cool video, rent the Cinela and compare it to the Cyclone. I don't think there's a good video about that.

cheers solid setup!!
I'm using the rode blimp for my NTG3. Love it! Also have the same setup as you for indoor, an MKH 50 with the INV-7 shock mount and rycote baseball!
rode blimp you must be a strong operator !!!! 😉
OWESOME REVIEW

nice I have to try those bumblebees covers
I also like the CS3e!
Is the cyclone sufficient for heavy wind without any dead cat?
Probably like 70-80% of the time the standard cyclone is plenty, but it's very useful to have fur on hand just in case the wind suddenly picks up.
just like levi said 70 to 80 % but I also
have the windjammer just in case !!
You should try the cinela Piani / Pianissimo or cosi. You will never want to use anything else !
Maybe after all
this is over I can splurge in sound gear again !!! 🙂🙏🙏🙏
You mean Schoeps CCM, not CMC, right? I'm interested in these mikes, but doubtful that they'll work with my Cinela Leo baskets.
CCM is the even smaller, but with fixed capsule. CMC1 came out about a year ago I think, and takes the same capsules as CMC6
@@Dustbrigade Got it, thanks.
yes it takes cmc6 capsules !!
cmc 1 is their newest preamp super small , i think leo basket is a bit big for
it but maybe they will
make
one for it
that black deadcat looks sexy as hell, I'm getting one 🔥, have you tried the Bubblebee Industries covers? they handle a lot of wind, try them out
soon I hope !! gotta see if they want
to send me some
hahahah
Do they have a rain cover for the Cyclone yet?
Railman makes them just have to special order it
That's good to know!
What do you use for those days when there is a lot of rain🌧 ?
For Rycote, Remote audio I believe, makes a thing called the Rain Man. For Cinela they have a hogs hair cover.
Levi Carter Thanks...I appreciate the info.
levi you the man !!!
yes I use the rainman a local boom op from vancouver company ! remote audio distribute them aswell
Good vid!
