The egronomics and seat problem, can both can be solved by the seat which is part of the rally kit? It raises the saddle height by 55mm.
Am also 6"1' tall and looking for a bike that is comfortable for touring. Want some weight on handlebars to avoid pain in hips but neutral footpegs to avoid pain in knees. What bike would be ideal?

Pratheek is 6.2ft tall. But we must say, the Xpulse has great overall body proportions.

We would suggest the Hero Xpulse 200 and the Royal Enfield Himalayan, depending on your budget.
Good bike but for an off-road bike no sense of spoke wheels there must be alloys to be offer

Does it overheat on long journey? How long can we ride per day without damage?
Not at all. The daily riding range depends on the rider. We know people who have done 1000kms in a day on the Xpulse.

Prefer 200 ns bro. Has more power and torque.. so it is better on the highways and good on cities too. Go for this if you are a hardcore off roader

Main thing about hero xpulse 200, bike is awesome!!! but service is pathetic. Worst experience. even basic chain sprocket is unavailable in Hyderabad city. Just imagine about other city condition , I'm waiting for main stand since Nov 2020. Another one just google oil leakage issue. My bike is suffering from oil leakage and Gaskit is unavailable In Bengaluru city

I’m 6’1. Now thinking if this would really fit me
Not possible. I'm 5'11. I didn't feel a problem while doing short distance rides, but anything more than 40-50mins at a stretch is a pain. Sold it after 4 months and got a used Himalayan for about the same price. The xpulse was a great bike but just not suited for tall person like me.
Exactly what kind of pain is it causing?
Me too is 6'1 and planning to take xpulse. It was comfortable while doing test drive. But while riding himalayan, its tank guard is hitting on my knee. Its foot peg is exactly below our seat so that we have to bent our leg backward. While riding xpulse i felt like sitting on a chair. Don't know how it will feel on long ride.
