Brit in Poland is the genuine account of a British Expat who lives in Warsaw, through this account I want to show people what it is like to live abroad, to educate people about the country of Poland, to tell the history of Poland and to show off what this place has to offer, providing guides to locations I have visited and experiences I have taken part in.
I am a start up TH-cam channel, so getting featured in the search engine can be hard, so I ask the following, if you like this video I promise you there will be many more to come, so please like, subscribe or comment...if you are feeling particularly generous then please share with your friends :D
I am always open to suggestions on how to improve, places to visit or topics to cover, so never be afraid to comment, I try to respond to all comments on my channel and engage with my viewers!

As a Pole, I am glad that your meetings with Poland and Poles encourage you to such considerations and conclusions.
You just talk about ways to a happy life...

I’ve learned a lot more about what it means to be happy living here as well as how to get there, there is a lot of wisdom in this country and a way of life lost to much of the western world now!

Everyone knows that Poland is poorer "materially" than the West - and I know it and I know why it is so.
I have known for a long time that a large part of Poles is richer "spiritually" than the West. Not everyone in Poland has gone crazy yet because of leftist fascism!
You already know this, but the West still needs decades to recover from this disease.
      Regards

Very interesting and I completely agree with everything you've just said.❤I've had similar experience with people. But one thing, I studied cross-culture psychology when I was already working for companies. I thought it would help me in relations with people at work and in life. It didn't. It made them worse. The more you understand about people, the more difficult it is to like them, tolerate and accept their games. And as a result, you start avoiding and losing them.

I believe and I am even sure that the relationship with the mother and the traumas that we encounter throughout life strongly determine the functioning of each of us. If we look at others through the prism of these factors, it will be easier for us to understand, accept and forgive. Sometimes even break up, cut off a relationship or isolate yourself from someone toxic.

I completely get it!, it’s easy to analyse!

@@wojstube9359 True. And it doesn't change even after your mother's death. You feel even worse, because thinking "bad" of her makes you feel even more guilty. So people tend to idealize their parents after they die to feel better.

Alkohol is Veritaserum (In vino veritas), and Poles belive in that. You can see who is who when he is drunk or when he is really scared about his life. So better is just get drunk :)

How come that I, having more extroverted personality than you, have never organized parties (including birthday celebration) with more than 10 people? :)

    • @britinpoland2392
      @britinpoland2392  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

Ever since I was young I always had bigger parties, so maybe it’s kind of a tradition of mine…though I think there may have been too many people at the last one 😅
Maybe next year I’ll have a smaller affair with close friends 😊
