- This is my attempt at a wonderful arrangement by the great accordionist, Charles Magnante. Midnight in Paris (from the 1935 movie 'Here's To Romance') was written by Con Conrad & Herb Magidson and was sung by Nino Martini. This rather challenging arrangement was used as a test piece at accordion competitions. Eddie Monteiro gave me his original copy of the music which he studied before I was born!
I claim no copyright whatsoever.
Great stuff!
A really 'testing' piece beautifully played.
Thank you!

Very good ... brought back memories. I played this exact arrangement when I was around 11 or 12 (see correction below) in a talent show and won the grand prize. The accordion was bigger than I was. I found my fingers moving as I listened.
Wow. I couldn’t play it at that age. Do you know Eddie Monteiro? He also played it as a test piece. Did you notice the small addition at the end?
@@zevyzions I don't know him. Now that I think about it, when I won the contest I think I played a song called "Quicksilver" and "Midnight" came later as a teenager. I quit playing when I was about 17.
@@johnpolis5211Come back - we need more accordion players!
Fabuloso!!
Thanks!
