I Don’t Care by Guido Deiro
This Polka is exciting to play thanks to its musical structure and cute mini phrases. I transcribed it from a circa 1913 recording. Imagine - 111 years ago!

BEL VISO POLKA
มุมมอง 2.8Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Bel Viso by Pietro Frosini is a Polka comprised of many sections. This enables the accordionist to use the full range of the keyboard to entertain the listener. Note the Trio’s A minor section with its Ragtime rhythm. I employed some of the embellishments I heard from a recording of the late virtuoso, John Molinari. Thanks to Ron Ostromecki for his help.
VIVO by John Gart

“Vivo” is my favorite piece by John Gart. It was dedicated to Pietro Frosini and published in 1946. It is so idiomatic to the accordion, using the various expressive elements that are so unique to the instrument.
Elenita by Charles Nunzio
มุมมอง 2422 หลายเดือนก่อน
Elenita by Charles Nunzio. A “Spanish Three - step” published by Mr. Nunzio in 1942, Elenita is a short but quite challenging work. His son, Charles Jr, told me that the song was named for Mrs. Helen Nunzio. I had the privilege of studying this piece with the composer. In this performance, I included a few modifications that Mr. Nunzio made in his later years. I have it in his own handwriting!
Streamline Waltz by Charles Nunzio

“Streamline Waltz” was published by Charles Nunzio in 1938. It was probably written for intermediate students, but Mr. Nunzio could never write anything simple. He threw in quite intricate ideas in the fingerings, harmonies, and there is even a Bass solo. When I began my studies with him, we started from basics such as exercises and scales. He brought me this piece which is a pretty good workou...
Mozart Menuetto

This is my own transcription of the Menuetto #1 from the Divertimento #17 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, K. 334. I tried to be a faithful to the original version as possible. I hope you will enjoy it.
American Victory March by Charles Nunzio

This is a composition that my teacher, Charles Nunzio wrote and published in 1942. It is a quite challenging masterpiece. I did not get to study it with him while he was alive. Fortunately, his music still lives on and I was lucky to find this piece. Many thanks to Eddie Monteiro, an early student of Mr. Nunzio, for his help.
“Czardas” by Felice Fugazza

“Czardas” by Felice Fugazza, from his collection of six pieces titled "Atlante Musicale" printed in 1955. It is an example of very fine music specifically written for the accordion.
TWO GUITARS arranged by Charles Nunzio

This is my performance an arrangement by my teacher, Charles Nunzio, of "Two Guitars". This very popular Russian Gypsy song was composed in the 19th century by Ivan Vasiliev (1810-1870) to words written by Apollon Grigoriev (1822-1864).
Midnight in Paris (1935)

This is my attempt at a wonderful arrangement by the great accordionist, Charles Magnante. Midnight in Paris (from the 1935 movie 'Here's To Romance') was written by Con Conrad & Herb Magidson and was sung by Nino Martini. This rather challenging arrangement was used as a test piece at accordion competitions. Eddie Monteiro gave me his original copy of the music which he studied before I was bo...

BEAUTIFUL DAYS WALTZ

BEAUTIFUL DAYS WALTZ was attributed to “S. Falco” when it was first recorded by Pietro Deiro who then made it “his own”. It fits the accordion so well. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.
THOUGHTS OF LOVE by Pietro Frosini
มุมมอง 420ปีที่แล้ว
THOUGHTS OF LOVE is a “Concert Waltz” that was composed by the great Pietro Frosini. I based my performance on the composer’s own recording from November 8, 1933. It is replete with the beautiful themes, phrasing, and of course, the bellows shake for which he was so famous.

She was very good.
She is still very good!
Buen día. No soy judío pero me encanta y toco algo de música judía en acordeón. Aplausos a ud.. Mazel tov.
¡muchas gracias!
@@zevyzions estimado. Mi abuelo era judío. Tocó Mazel Tov, Hava Nagila. Me gustaría tocar otras obras. Cómo consigo partituras de música judía?
Maestro! Well done played this piece! More this kind music from you! Please Thank You! 🙏
You are very kind. Thank you very much.
Yes, Zev, nice touch, indeed!
Thank you very much. It’s a beautiful tune.
Complimenti! Anche mio papà si chiamava Guido e Deiro è un nome conosciuto da questo vecchio fisarmonicista che della Deiro Publishing Company ha conservato molti spartiti!
Grazie mille!
Bravo Zev🙂
Thank you so much, Lars. I’m proud to play this accordion which has your name on it.
I love it... Thank you so much!
Thanks. I'm glad you like it!
Very nice composition, precise performance. Beautiful accordion.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
Bravo!!! I like it very much.
Thank you!
Bravo!!! I also really enjoy playing this polka.
Thanks!
Thank you for another fine performance!
Thank you!
Bravo!
Thank you, Thank you! 🪗☕️
Nice job Zev, as always. I liked the smile coming thru the beard around midway thru the tune and I love the Borsini. Is that an antique or a replica ?
Thanks, Ed. It’s a replica. Here’s the catch. I’m playing with the three (!) middle reeds only. The bassoon reeds are disengaged. That’s the way it was performed on the original recording.
Well done! Love this accordion, too. May I ask who services your accordions? Sounds like new!
Thank you. I did some small things over the years to this accordion, but when I bought it (about 14 years ago), I had Aldo Mencaccini bring it to my specs.
Dynamics !🙂
Thank you. It’s a basic component of music!
Really enjoyable listening! Fantastic playing as usual! I like that unexpected diminished chord as well!
Thanks. Why is it unexpected?
@@zevyzions it came out of left Field. It surprised me. The way the piece was going it wasn't expected.
they're all talent less hacks now

Yes. It’s great and so perfect 👍🏿. It is exciting from start to finish!
Fantastic as usual. Looks pretty difficult to pull off some of those parts. I bet a lot of time was put into this!
Yes. Lots and lots! Feel good!
Bravo!
Thanks!
Fantastic, Zevvie!!!
Thank you, Ron. It’s been too long!
You continue to amaze me Zevvie. I used to enjoy playing through my Gart collection, but never at your high skill level. Ron
Flattery will get you nowhere, Ron. I’m just kidding. Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m just playing the tune.
Nice Zev ! Typical John Gart - full of accents and agressive melody ! Bravo my friend !
Thanks for your kind words, Ed!
Fabulous!!! 🪗
Thank you. Perhaps I’ll play Bel Fiore as well as you one day!

As usual flawless performance!
Thank you. I was just thinking of you.
Very nice Zev. I never heard this one before
Thank you, Ron. You mean you never listened to my first album? 😆
This piece is a Froz gem 🙂 The tear-jerking G minor sadness that briefly spreads out at around 2:13 is however not an excuse for the poor proofreading by the publisher 😅 Thanks Zevy! 🙂
