PIKMIN - The Lost Expeditions (Animation)

Following the return of Captain Olimar from PNF-4 0h 4 with vast amounts of treasure, and the sudden boom of Hocotate Freights stock value, many greedy Hocotatian executives saw the planet as a perfect opportunity to earn Pokos in quantities they had only eaver dreamed of.
Many expeditions were sent out; however, few returned with even a single treasure, and many Hocotatians were lost to the planet. The only thing remaining of these treasure hunters are broadcasts sent back to Hocotate, which were promptly buried...
...Until now.
One thing remains consistent between all recorded expeditions: they never discovered Pikmin.
One of the most prominent ill-fated journeys to PNF-404 was sent by PIKPIK inc, Hocotates most well known producer of the planet's favourite food, pikpik carrots. The hapless crew, lead by Captain Horace, embarked on the company's maiden voyage to PNF-404, hastily thrown together in the wake of Captain Olimar's return with vast amounts of treasure.
The PikPik ship was the largest to ever be manufactured on the planet, built to store many times more treasure than Hocotate freight had returned with.
On arrival they encountered a then unknown Astroid field that surrounded the planet, heavily damaging their ship and leaving them vulnerable to the perils of PNF-404.
