I completely understand your feelings about Danessa Myrick’s new Lightwork Palette. I have it and I personally got a lot of specific use out of it during Halloween and some concerts. Unless you have the time and something out there that you’re going for, it’s not really for the every day. I’ll say the Chrome Flakes in a pot are a lot more easier to work with than the pressed Chrome Flakes. They are most definitely not meant to be worn alone. The water liners never look great by themselves but do provide an awesome base if you use one of the other Velvet Chromes on top once it dries down. Overall, the middle row can be very finicky and isn’t worth it to mess with everyday but its honestly very fun when there’s time and an appropriate event. So personally I love it but I would only recommend it to a certain type of person.
Hadn’t heard Lisa Eldridge was releasing eyeshadow palettes. This should be interesting. I believe that she was a part of the Lancôme creative team when they released those confusing and murky palettes. Don’t think they were a hit. Never understood that as she is so talented. Who knows, maybe she wasn’t in total control.

The dose of colors Nine years later palette is excellent! As is the new Mario palette, the il makiage x kathleen lights palette. And I’m STILL living the Natasha denona glam face and eye palettes, both of them. Especially the dark one! It is so good!!!!
Whoa when you came onto the screen, I was like Wow! It's stunning bue green. I never would've thought it was Sigma. Don't have any of their palettes but they do intrigue me. I've been off of buying palettes, trying to use what I have. Last ones I bought were ND Retro and the 3 UD mini Naked palettes, both really good.

I was waiting for the Nars palette to come to Sephora. I was disappointed that it didn’t make it during the Sephora sale. I do enjoy my Nars palettes for everyday looks with a touch of soft glam.

What’s missing to me is the Viseart San Francisco palette. I feel like for me it is second only the dream palette -so should place well with the others. I can’t stop using it.

Random tip for those middle ones use those drops that came out with the make up by Mario’s first pallet. The one that you had to scrape. I forgot the name of mixing solution but that solution with those middle shades work amazing

Danessa Myricks palette has 10 seriously beautiful shades not 8. But I do agree I’m not sure how to approach the center row. But I have paid 12 dollars per shade at terra moons for singles so I would have paid 12 dollars per shade of the 10 in the palette so I’m ok with my purchase. Her formula applied over glitter glue tacky base does not crease on me like terra moons, shine by SD do on me. Can anyone recommend a multi chrome like Danessa’s?
I would be very interested to know how you wear your eyeshadow? I mean you just ranked 24 palettes from the month of September and October and said that you used some of them “a ton”. Do you do your makeup more than once a day? No shame just curious. I sometimes do my makeup also twice a day 😊
With all these palettes, I'm curious when you'd get to wear anything that's NOT the newest of the new. Like those Tom Ford $90 quads - will you actually go back to them if 5 days of the week you're trying out new shadows, and you only get 2 days a week for "old" palettes?
I think the holiday 5 pan Pat McGrath Are great little pallets for somebody who wants to try Pat McGrath formulas at a reasonable price👏👏👏👏. However, I bought the big holiday pallet and did not bother with the five pens because the color stories we have over and over again…How many shimmer mauve and champagnes do we need? I took a quick look and opened up about a dozen pallets of my own and found those shades repeatedly🤷♀️.. I do love that the quality is there for the price… However they are nothing special.. just my opinion
Im definitely NOT bullying 🤣 but i havent put the Danessa Myricks palette down! To be fair, i just dont play with the chrome flakes at all. The water activated ones I've only used them as like a wing with no other eyeshadow. They feel really dry and tight at first but eventually it got better or I stopped noticing. Also to be fair I have to WORK to keep the top and bottom rows from becoming a creasy mess before 6 hours are up. Worth it but I totally get not wanting to work so dang hard when you normally dont. It is annoying. Im obsessed tho 🤣

Don’t apologize for the DM palette! You are 100% correct, especially since it’s $125 freaking dollars!!! No one should have to have a PhD in cosmetics in order to use eyeshadow!! I really don’t get the hype with the brand, a lot of her products are finicky, they have to be manipulated in order to get a good result
I don't think there was anything wrong in the way you ranked the Danessa Myricks palette, because a lot of the other reviews that I have seen have critiqued the middle shades that they are not the easiest to work with. I think if the palette would have been priced under 100 USD and the pans of the middle shades would be the same as with the other pans in the palette, than the palette would have been worth it. With the current price I felt that I didn't want to buy it, because I would be paying "extra" for middle shades that are bigger than the rest but don't work as well as the rest of shades within the palette.

I ordered the dm palette because it will b unique to my collection since I dont own any duo chromes I hope I like it. I'm afraid now.

there is a brand called JD glow cosmetics that sells BOMB multichromes you can get pressed or loose, they are just as good or even better than DM,
