@@Afflictamine Not sure of their exact method. Like I said, they could be removing all sound from the clips and adding in foley / sound FX. Sound phasing is also a method, by playing the same song from the film clips, any other audio can be separated - an old method for getting just the vocals out of a song by playing the original lined up with the instrumental. There's algorithms built into free programs like Audacity that can be used to isolate sounds.
The fact that you integrated footage from the Church scene in John Wick at 0:55 because he's in the temple is such a great detail. It's obvious how much love you put into this stuff.
The best part I feel is when John is having to reload his pistol while standing right in front of an infected villager. That's incredibly relatable with the gameplay of the original!
I'm starting to understand how he does it which is dope. He cuts out the villages from gameplay and then places them over a backdrop of the locations in the game and positions them where keanu is gonna shoot. What I find crazy though is that he was able to put keanu in situations where it looks like he's interacting with doors and punching the villagers and it really makes it feel like he's in the RE universe lmao.

The placement of enemies at 0:17 relative to the camera is a great emulation of a scene from John Wick 2. Really well done. It looks very clean. I assume the way he did it was having some of the zombies getting shot also be edited into the scene like John is. That's why the blood splatter can look a bit different than in-game, e.g. 0:25 (zombie on the right).

Probably studies a single JW shot, then finds a place in the game with a similar NPC placement, and recreates John’s shots onto the targets. Then uses some 3rd party tool to record that in-game, remove Leon’s model and all his accessories from it, and lines up the shot to fit with John’s shots when he superimposes him. Damn impressive work.
@@Neo2266. it looks to me that Keanu is one layer, zombi is another layer so as if there are others in, each different layers and the background is basically either a random game location image or static video that is later path blended in somewhat connected with other layers all masked and baked together every element looks like it's baked through separate layers, you can tell by the odd placements and especially how blurred each element's borders are you can't casually find an angle with a zombie in it or whatever then just bake Keanu in the second time I seen the video I basically realized exactly how it's done and the "magic" is gone but for a meme video it's enough

I must have watched this at least 10 times. The music goes amazingly well with the on-screen action, which is also arranged with incredible detail and precision.

I must say of all the "[CHARACTER] in [GAME/MOVIE]" videos that I have seen, this most be the best. Not only the camera shoots where amazing, to the point where some times it actually looked like John was in the village, rather than just pasted on top, but the whole video is pure art. Kudos to the creator.
This game is basically already the closest thing we have to a John Wick simulator so this is just perfect! Very well done
