These edits are getting better and better. The fact that Leslie nelson’s character is meant to be a detective gave this one strong “who framed roger rabbit vibes to Me” in the way he seamlessly appears to be interacting with the digital characters. Editing is everything.
And it will probably get even more love as a new one is being produced with Liam Neeson as the main character (this why I have a lot of hope on it, because like Leslie Nielsen, Liam Neeson is an actor from mainly serious films getting into comedy)
I'm just impressed that theres a person out there who still remembers Police Squad, and appreciates both these franchises enough to the point they thought to combine them.

I always love with these movie/tv characters in video game parodies its usually the character being in a game, but with leslie nielsen its never a single character its just him. Goes to show how beloved he is as a actor.
The problem is Leslie Nielsen was the key to those movies being good, and he passed on. Now, the formula to making a good comedy is to hire a very serious actor to play overly goofy roles, but it's hard to find someone who takes their job very seriously but is also very humble.
