    Of all the places in the forest, that Fox chose to pee on camera! Too funny! Does anyone think that Moose senses that camera and was responding to the light on it?

      We’ve had a rabbit explosion. The Foxes are eating well.

      I think that bird of prey possibly had a chick from a nearby nest and that’s why the two other birds were flying around in the tree so close by. But just a guess though.

    • @TheFront40Alaska

      I primarily use Browning Trail Cams. Very durable, most of my cams have taken a good beating from moose antlers. Perform well in subzero temps. My favorite model is the Spec Ops model BTC-8E

      In the fifteen years I’ve been here it’s is getting warmer in May. But the trail cams temp aren’t the most accurate. The cams mounted in direct sunlight are definitely reporting hotter than ambient temps.

    What do the fox eat? Do they ever attack dogs? Its amazing how big the moose get and always look so clean.

    • @TheFront40Alaska
      @TheFront40Alaska  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They eat rodents, rabbits, spruce grouse..etc. We have a rabbit explosion going on so those Fox will be well fed.
      Never heard of a Fox attacking a dog. I’m sure it happens. I sure wouldn’t have a little dog out here.....
      My next video will actually have a clip of a Fox catching and eating something. View of his prey is blocked by grass so I can’t see what he got.
